Definitely in the eye of the beholder thing, I prefer the engineering that MS has. The transformation can be rough but not frustrating, at least for me. I do agree both modes look great and they feel solid. It's just the in-between that can be messy. Excellent review.

You've got him partially mistransformed. The lower part of the torso, take those two pieces folded in, put them back to normal, snap the chest piece in (which you couldn't do before the way you had it), then wrap those two pieces around his waist.

Why do they keep making the thighs trapezoid shape? They are clearly a straight rectangle in the sunbow image.

I bought this (MS metalic version) and regret my decision. The plastic/nylon finish does not bode well with the paint apps (I got the metalic version). Transformation is defintely not enjoyable as you feel like a lot of the manipulation is straining the plastic and joints. Alternate mode doesn't hold well, the front wheels don't lock into place at all. I also have the N/A mirage - it may not have the nice proportions of the MS, but the finish, smooth and intuitive transformation with both modes being rock solid.

Yeah I agree, even tho NA doesn't look as good, the build quality is way better
