I dont mind eduardos constant talking, but I do mind his constant criticizims of all the plays that are made.

Hear hear. This was the last great Legacy GP before 2019 messed the format up

18:23 Ben Wong's deck is shuffled 29 times in a minute. I don't know why I find this so humorous.
@hollywoodmkx2 жыл бұрын
That’s because Ross Merriam calls the shots apparently in front of multiple judges at a GP. The guy is always protracting thinking or game actions that should be done in a reasonable manner.

Why doesn't anyone play Esper control in legacy?
@Akbar-nc6hz5 жыл бұрын
There's Esper Stoneblade, the deck is like a control-midrange.
@bobbymccullough32105 жыл бұрын
Because if you're playing Esper, you're playing UWb, and if you're playing UWb, you would be better off playing UWr, and if you're playing UWr you're playing Miracles. Honestly, black really only brings discard to the table as white has better removal in Swords to Plowshares, Terminus, Council's Judgment, and Path to Exile. And don't get me wrong, discard is a great tool, but the question you have to ask yourself is: is losing access to pyroblast, blood moon and red elemental blast *really* worth a few thoughtseizes? I'd say no.

wow, SW actually attacks in Legacy GDS nice

Damn, so many terrible mistakes by ben, how can you possibly let someone draw before casting an instant to make em discard. I mean if they had no cards in hand, that’s the way to go, but why give them an extra choice?

oh boy. wastelands comes first into the GY, then the fetchland and then stubborn denial. he doesnt even understand how his own cards are working
@clelvis2255 жыл бұрын
what? graveyard order means nothing unless you have specific cards that mention graveyard order, like Nether Shadow or Ashen Ghoul....so putting Fetch, Denial, Wasteland instead of Wasteland, Fetch, Denial has no bearing on the game whatsoever...so how do you figure "he doesn't even understand how his own cards are working"??????
@justinmoss28235 жыл бұрын
@@clelvis225 I know this is 5 months late and doesnt really matter but gy order is pretty strict in legacy. You can get a game loss for rearranging it, though I dont think I've ever seen anyone play with the cards the rule was made for.
@gabriels37065 жыл бұрын
Justin Moss judges will generally be fine with it as long as all the effects happened at around the same time and you’re not playing cards that care about it. It’s technically wrong, but nobody will call him out on it

@@justinmoss2823 People definitely play shallow grave, it's not particularly common, but it has been in decks that are not unplayable

This announcer… “deaf’s shadow” all the freaking time… have to skip this one. “Hey should we have any standards for announcers or should we take those with speech impediments?” Well gee, I don’t know, do they have one literal job description and that is to be able to actually speak? If not then sure by all means have an announcer who cannot speak English for your coverage. In fact, why not have a mute announcer? When you don’t have standards, where does it stop?
