Naomi uses her Magnets & Putty method to magnetize each of the Sisters onto the Triumph of Saint Katherine base, as well as onto their own individual bases, so she can use them as separate models depending on her army makeup. (Or maybe in Blackstone Fortress! That Spirit of Saint Katherine would make a very good Crusader!)

Very nice and easy way to magnetize the miniatures to allow freedom and safety; really nice.

This episode of quarantainment brought to you by the beautiful Naomi and her awesome model building skills. Maybe magnetizing could be used to remove the ladies as it takes damage

I have a bunch of Warhammer fantasy orcs that all have magnetized arms so they can all switch weapons making sure you have the magnets oriented correctly is very important

I am just about to do this very thing. This was an excellent video to help me mentally prepare how I am going to magnetize these. Thanks!

Well done! I'm a fan of using magnets anytime I need. And, of course, of this channel. I can't say how much less alone you all make me feel in this quarantined land of mine.

I hadn't thought of magnetizing that model, I have to give that a try once I get it. Thanks for sharing!

This was very well done, and showed that magnetization doesn't have to be overcomplicated to be effective. Im glad you did their own model thing, too.

Naomi, thanks so much for this! An advantage of magnetizing the Sisters and the centerpiece that I want to make the most of if/when I get this model someday, is that I'd love to do something really fancy with the giant base itself. I've seen a lot of lovely marble renditions, but I'd love to paint it like stained tile or maybe even as its own giant illustration (like stained glass or the "galaxy cloaks" if you're familiar with those), particularly since all the little fleurs-de-lis are so individually distinguishable as is.

I'm a little late, but I just did this and worked nicely! I left the pegs on the feet though because I don't plan to swap them or put them on bases. Putting the putty in the skirts was a great idea to hide the magnets :)

Oh grey stuff seems a fun way of doing it =} I just use a combination of super glue and baking powder or I just drill holes in the exact size of the magnets...keeping them in place with friction

I have a cheap solution for filling in gap and cavities in a model. I use aluminum foil. I ball it up and you superglue to make it solid. Then you can use that putty stuff on the very bottom then sink the magnet into it.

What magnets do you use? I have some but they didn't have a rating and I think they're a bit weak... unless I stack a few together, but then I'm using a lot of magnets!

I was about to lose my shit, seeing this and realising I should have done this with my raging heroes army for getting them on a tray/diorama, but quickly realized the connection points wouldn't even let me use a 1mm cylinder magnet.
