Fantastic video. Also a video about trusting the process, because half of the time i thought that you ruined it, only to be proven wrong by a fantastic effect. It is truly surprising how things change in this hobby when they completely dry.

This is awesome! I was planning on trying the method that uses steel wool or a brillo pad pulled apart on some terrain and other bits. Just hadn't got around to going out and buying any steel wool/brillo... Watch this video, look to my side about 2ft away, pack of baby wipes... Well, guess I don't have to go out now :D

I tried this today and it worked perfectly. Even on small bases. Just wrapped the baby wipes round the base. There was some weird residue though. Maybe I didn't put enough varnish. But it kind of added to the effect. Thanks. The bases look sick! Hope the models match the cool base!

Jeez that is beautiful. I wish I owned an airbrush now. I’ve got a base that would be perfect for marbling. Any chance you could experiment and maybe make a video for a technique with out an airbrush? 😅😅
@traviss3913
@traviss3913 3 жыл бұрын
You could use rattle cans. It doesn't HAVE to be airbrush but you'd of course have more control with an airbrush. Also, check out Amazon for some beginner airbrush sets you can get some really basic kits for roughly $100 they have everything you need for starting out/experimenting. That's what I did and eventually upgraded to a nicer airbrush but still use the crappy compressor.
