for anyone wonder about what the engine saw at 24:17, its Bxb3 and if you take back w/ rook or knight, Rxh7 leads to mate.

Yeah...insane variation...the bar went from -9 or smth to +17...it is indeed Bxg3...u can t take with anything ,if u take with the knight,pawn or rook, the rook goes to h7 and mate follows...and if u don t take,your a knight down.U could also take with the queen,but then ur going to be down a queen for a rook.

Congrats to Velimir Ivic, best tournament since 2021 world cup when he defeated Vallejo Pons (R2), Dmitri Andreikin (R3) Mathias Bluebaum (R4)... It would be great to see all the result at the end, or at least untill third page (top 30). Thanks

Every move should be shown with a minimum of2-3 secods, no matter how fast the players played!

Because of the war in Ukraine, Chesscom and FIDE don't display them. It applies to the russian flag and the bielorrusian as well.

Game 5, the guy is an obvious cheater. Every time he played a move à tempo that was a bad move and when he took his time it always top 1 or 2 move of the engine.
