I absolutely agree.. and I don’t follow or particularly like any celebrity but I am still sad our QUEEN IS GONE.. and even cried.. because she was absolutely amazing.. I was Born on Annes birthday and can totally relate to her.. nothing is about me.. I DONT feel comfortable with praise and don’t particularly want it, duty is so important.. mine being my kids.. and ALWAYS do the right thing.. no matter what because I have to live with myself.. and I try to be the best possible person possible.. because my conscience is my enemy and if I ever lied as a kid it would play on my mind so much and make me miserable even a small lie.. which kids do.. 😂 I am definitely not saying I am like Anne.. but I do see her and understand where she’s coming from.. and I absolutely KNOW HOW FURIOUS SHE WOULD BE WITH HARRY.. 😂😂😂

I remember when I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to go in for a bilateral mastectomy. My sons were 9, 6 and 4. I was so scared about my kids being worried and scared, especially since they’d just lost their beloved grandfather due to cancer. I’m sure the Princess of Wales is feeling similarly. I hope she recovers quickly and gets lots of gentle hugs and kisses from her children. That will help heal her faster than anything.

This episode is the best yet. Hearing Mr. Hardman gave me such a comforting feeling. I’m an American but, as silly as it sounds, I’ve always thought of England as the mother country. I support the Monarchy 100% and am wishing King Charles and Princess Catherine a speedy recovery. Thank you for your informative, honest and entertaining reporting.

I agree. Medical personnel unless they are the direct doctor/surgeon for the Princess should stop speculating on her condition. For God’s sake, her medical history should be and must remain private. Who are we to demand to know what the situation is.? Would we want OUR medical history broadcast to the world? Leave them alone. Let her rest and recuperate fully so she can return to us, please!

For ovarian cancer, the drugs are usually given in repeating cycles spread over 4-5 months, but this can vary depending on the stage of the cancer and In many cases, ovarian cancer chemotherapy is administered in three to six cycles, with each cycle involving a schedule of set chemotherapy doses followed by a rest period during which the patient can recover. That's why her rest period is Soo confidently confirmed & predicted to be around Easter!!! Chemotherapy Oncology Nurse here🙋🏼‍♀️

Yes, it seems that respecting her privacy is not something media is good at. I do NOT NEED to know what her medical problem is. Whatever it WAS has been fixed. Guessing only leads to rumors. As far as the King is concerned. Good for him for bringing to light this problem a high percentage of men have, and hopefully, it will lead to others getting checked. I've had 2 abdominal surgeries. It takes a week to sit up without hurting. Being Royal , she will not be kicked out of a hospital bed like the rest of us. Lifting things for a month or so is a no no. Just let the woman recover in peace.

I don’t think bravery has anything to do with it. So many people are disclosing information about health issues to raise awareness of various issues. Royal or not they are still normal people doing the job they were raised to do. I really admire the monarchy change in Denmark, no fuss at all but dignified and equally as important. Charles needs to relax and stop being such a stuffed shirt.

I admire him even more for being open about his medical issue, that's a big deal for a lot of men, and he's bringing attention to it so other men experiencing the same problem hopefully will deal with theirs without so much embarrassment, calling him a "stuffed shirt" is just a silly, ridiculous remark to make😂!!!

@@heatherireland2810 Did you watch this episode? The panelists discussed how much more relaxed Charles is compared to Elizabeth. Would you prefer him to wear sweatpants and Crocs? Attend Beyoncé concerts? He's a man in his 70s who of course will have interests and preferences that differ from millennials, but has always been someone to champion worthy causes and take his role of being a leader, example and charitable man very seriously. He's been a leader on the issue of the environment, decades before Al Gore and Greta Thunberg made it mainstream.. and he's been mocked as a tree-hugger because of it. I will never understand the derision Charles has always gotten, even before the failed marriage with Diana. How can he be both an uncaring monster AND a wet blanket softie pushover, for example, but he's often called both? It's been grossly unfair, if you ask me.

I once saw a wonderful interview with the Princess Royal when the interviewer commented about her famously wearing a suit that was more than 20 years old. She just smiled and said, "It's older than that." A comment that highlighted her entire style -- understated, serviceable and hard-working, while still being stylish. And as I recall, it was a very nice suit indeed.

You shouldn't be making assumptions about her health. And IF it's true and you're spreading this... What about her right to privacy with regards to her health? Or do you also leave your own health situation and your medication in KZfaq comments. If you're a real nurse, it's a bit shameful that you aren't aware of this.

I really appreciate Jo’s comment “we won’t speculate about the Princess’s condition” - it showed respect for her desire for privacy. I do enjoy Rebecca’s reporting on the royals - her respect, admiration and affection for the late Queen, King Charles and Queen Camilla and the Waleses are so evident and admirable.

I 've admired and respected Princess Anne for a long time. I think it was in the 70s when some commentator made a comment about her wearing the same gown to different functions. She shot right back at them with something to effect of "I like this dress. I paid a lot of good money for this dress and I will wear whenever and where ever I damn well please." Gotta love her. Thoughts and prayers for Princess Katherine and King Charles.

I'm in my 80s, a US citizen and have had an interest in the UK and the Royal Family for some time. I owned a book about William and Catherine and when I finished reading it I offered it to anyone in my family that might be interested in it. To my surprise, two of my granddaughters (early 30s) exclaimed "I love the Royal family." You just never know how much generations apart share interests.

Palace Confidential is THE BEST SHOW. Very professional without yelling, talking over one another, not rude and catty with one another. I don’t like missing any episodes. I find it’s AMUSING. People complain that they don’t NEED the Monarchy but here when King Charles and Princess of Wales are hospitalized and unable to attend their Charities people are in an uproar (more like very concerned of their absences). This tells us that the Monarchy is very needed and important to the public.

Just think: if the Queen had lived a few years longer, and the Sussexes had brought their kids over to "get to know their Great-Grandmother," she would have had to address this child as "Lilibet." It beggars belief. The name was used by her father because as a little one she could not quite pronounce "Elizabeth," and he called it back to her, and it stuck among her immediate family and, later, her husband. I doubt ANYBODY else used it. Diana had to call Prince Charles "Sir" until they were engaged. I doubt even her friends called Princess Margaret anything but "Ma'am." Princess Anne was the one who began to change all that -- when she was training for riding competitively, her coach was getting frustrated at the time using her title took to issue instructions fast to get her to correct something, and she told him just to call her "Anne." She also went to school, and I think realised that friends address one another by first name.

I believe they asked Queen Elisabeth if they could, OR told her they were going to name their daughter after her. This would definitely imply Elisabeth, not her close and very personal pet name of Lilibet. Registering the name “ Lilibet Diana” months before the child’s birth, displays that they had already set plans in motion and were definitely not asking her permission. It is all about using the names for future business ventures. I cannot even begin to imagine how Queen Elisabeth would have felt when it all came to light.

And just like every other family (except they have a nanny) the father is quite capable of working - even if only part-time - while the kids are at school and if necessary looking for friends and family to look after them if the work takes longer. He has a nanny and if I were Catherine I'd want to recuperate at home with mum and dad = she won't be able to climb stairs for a few weeks anyway - not least because I know from personal experience being told you can't do anything for weeks on end is the quickest way to the loony bin there is. If you are used to being busy then it DOES drive you insane (same for friends who've had hysterectomies with a 6 week recuperation at home after the fortnight or so in hospital, not able to work drove them mad and most quietly began working from home the minute they could sit in a comfy chair for more than an hour at a time). I've been there and the recovery was worse because you are told you have to rest and do nothing, unless you're someone who spends all day watching the soaps on the telly you slowly go insane from boredom.

I think the 10-14 days is a conservative estimate, depending how Catherine does, and allows time for her to go home without paparazzi knowing! It makes sense to me that even the idea of not returning to engagements until after Easter is a conservative estimate. It makes sense to me that taking more time than perhaps needed is smart PR.

American nurse for 48 years, I agree completely. This is a very smart move. Here and I’m sure there people are rushed to go home to early sometimes requiring readmission or at least more tests and home nurses. This affords her the privacy, time and care she deserves. In my opinion, the Queen, after realizing it was not Elizabeth, but Lilibet, felt she had been deceived by her own grandson and " evil" wife, and was terribly disappointed by that. It was a personal betrayal she could not understand or accept ... Her own grandson. Must have been deeply saddening. I'm a grandmother and that's how I would have felt, too. Now wouldn't it be fair to say Lilibet was a pet name rather than a nickname? It might be splitting hairs but in America, a pet name is more fitting for the story behind the Queen's childhood name and in particular in the Queen's later years when the name seemed to exclusively be used by Prince Phillip. Nicknames can be all sorts of things but a pet name is much more personal.

This was a poignant discussion in many ways. Bringing it all back. The Queen's last moments. I'm sad. And even after two years the events are still fresh in my mind. We all did love her. We saw her quite by chance here long ago. The Royal Yacht was at the bottom of a local street, and we stopped, and my four-year-old son stood on the fender of the car as they drove past and got out of their car and boarded the boat. We saw them very close up as they drove by. And they kept the interior car lights on. It was a beautiful sight with the official dress and the sparkling diamonds and gems. My son had seen the Queen only on television, and there she was only 12 feet away. We were the only ones there after visiting my mother up the street. We waved as they boarded the Royal Yacht. Suddenly, the doors opened and the Queen and Prince Philip appeared near the gangplank and stepped forward and waved to us. And I like to think it was because she saw that little boy on the fender of the car as they drove past. What a generous gesture. From then on, he expected the Queen to telephone at any moment because she had waved to him. An unforgotten moment in time. He's 55 years old now, but he did see the Queen and she did wave to him.

When one's last surviving parent dies it is truly devastating. One feels such a deep loss. I know I felt like an orphan after my mother's death. The connection to the couple who conceived you has been broken. Each of the late Queen's children would have felt this feeling of being cut adrift in this world.

Msmarcy I was in my 40s when my father died I was in my 50s when my mum died I was devastated I also felt an orphan I'm the eldest so I had to take charge I had to be the strong one I didn't cry that was extremely hard. My mum lived in southern ireland1 of my brother's also lived in England my sister and youngest brother lived in Ireland. After the meal in the pub which I couldn't face and the wake we went back to mum's I kept folk chatting and making brews they were chatting I went back to the cemetery and had a good cry one of my uncles came and found me and walked me back I apologized he said I had done very well and it was good I let the tears out he said my mum would be pleased I had let go it wasn't good to hold it in my mum would have been pleased I cried. But I worried I had let her down but my uncle didn't tell anyone. I felt I shouldn't have been seen

Prayers for all the other families in this world who have sickness in their families and worries but are without care , doctors , medications. Look what is going on in the Middle East. Those are humans like we all but not royalities this. It mean l don’’ t wish to get well for the princess as well for every one who is not well and needs the best care there is just the upper class will receive 100 Times . All have families to take care and worry for the sick, there just be equal care for all the suffering. If not than there is something terrible wrong no matter how many time one attention the services in churches, is it just for the appearances and what they going to wear.

I remember hearing at the time of the baby's birth that Harry told his grandmother, the Queen, they were going to name the baby after her. Harry and Meghan left the Queen to assume that they meant "Elizabeth" and the Queen acknowledged that she was fine with that. The Queen later discovered that her new granddaughter was named "Lilibet".
