I apologize that it is later than it was supposed to be. This has been a week.
This week, we spend some time with various measuring devices and make pretty darn certain that the M54B30 that I am rebuilding for the #GreyLadyX5, my 2006 BMW X5 3.0 6MT, is going to be worth the effort.
That said, this week has been a disaster - from all of the outside-the-garage things that have occurred all the way to unforced errors on my part, it has not been great.

Hello! Some additional comments: 1. I'm Armenian, I'm incapable of speaking without the use of my hands. But when I do talk with my hands, I use my knees to hold the steering wheel securely. 2. Something that didn't make it into the episode was the deep cleaning I gave to the outside of the engine. It's a lot cleaner than it was. I'll show you a bit more of that next week.

I feel for ya man, that's tough having to redo an assembly with TTY bolts... but just think of how sweet it will be when that fresh lovely lump is back together and purring away 🏁

Hello! Thanks for watching! I have access to the factory manuals, and that’s what one would use. You can find them available online. I use BMW TIS.
