Hindus don't worship idols or god instead they worship the deity through idols only after giving it divinity by doing "pran pratista", Hindus accept many ways to realize reality and one of them is to invoke spiritual realization through deities to become bhrama . According to English, God is The source of creation hence only bhrama is god, everything has its own deep symbolic significance like for example replacing of Ganeshji head by shiva(the consciousness) symbolizes replacing arrogance and establishing auspiciousness hence every new work is started with ganesh..likewise for knowing metaphorical meanings of Purush&Pakriti ,shiv parivar etc read orignal texts instead of manipulative films which are done without basic understanding of anything

This film was not at all controversial it was one of the most loved and highest grossing film. The controversy was created after some politicians started saying this is an insult to Hindus long time after this movie was released. This film was super relatable to Indian audience as the baba/guru culture shown in the movie was extremely accurate and true.

Hey, it’s not against any religion. But it’s against the hypocrisy. The critical issue is it’s take some part of Hindu religion which was offended. This is due to Hinduism is only religion that is very much compassionate, tolerant & forgiving. Thats why the director took such liberty, which was not possible with other religions. Those other religions believe in punishment for blasphemy but Hinduism can forgive any such act.

How come they never showed muslim slaughtering animals for eid as an oppressive practice. Its only hindus who are always lectured. They have clear cut bashed idolatry in the entire film. And hindus were literally laughing on their own culture because of the normalisation of such things. The script itself was very hypocritical and preachy tp only one section. Hindus did not even realised until years later.the level of hindu bashing was in it. All they pushed was their own leftist agenda. And called millions stupid who goes to temples.

You need to explore the western cinema where movies are way More critical towards Religion. Series like family guy directly trolls Christianity. Atleast this movie criticised the Hypocrites of Hinduism. But Hollywood not just criticize the Hypocrisy of Christian orthodoxy but also trolls the Christian values. Hindus may have been tolerant HIstorically but in today's world, in case of religion, Christians are way more tolerant and open minded. Cuz the maximum inter religious marriages also happens from Christian community Only

@@AzadHind572 . Well I don’t know about western world but I have family in which we have both faith, Hinduism & Christian. Some of our ancestors accepted Christianity long ago before independence. I have attended both side of social ceremonies & faithful places since childhood. From inside Myself I believe in Hinduism, also on paper today. & I don’t think I have any grudges or resistance towards my christian family members. But the fact is I have done prayers in church but my christian cousin never did prayer in hindu temple till now.

Knowing that you have already watched some of the best our cinema had to offer like RRR , KGF , Bahubali , 3 Idiots etc. “ Kal ho na ho “ is one of the best of SRK , you can give it a try.

@@tanyasharma3723 why shame this movie show the truth about religion.........no one has objection when movie released everyone enjoyed till one of the priest community lodged FIR on movie and deviate mindset of people...........the scene where amir khan run behind the person who is going to play lord Shiv Ji thinking he was real Shivji....why people got offended on that scene....he was just a character who was playing Shivji, people doesn't got offended when in real life, a person playing a role of any lord in the sketch, and later after event he open bottle of liquor, smokin' cigarette then why people doesn't got offended by saying that lord Shiv Ji burning cigrettes........what a bullshit people with this mindset Who can't differciate between humour and reality..........let's talk about another movie OMG where in one scene milk was poured on shivling and Akshay Kumar saying it was waste and people can give that milk to poor instead of temple........and people and priest of temple got offended saying it is our culture.........yes I agree It is our culture but it is also true that these temples recieved donation in lakhs, crores by devotees...... can't they develop a system to collect that milk and use it for temple and if xtra give it to needy.........but no...... people got offended how movies show religion but doesn't want to bring change in them......if I know that food or milk is going to waste......i always prefer to give needy ones.......and I am not trolling every temple authority........there are many temples who brings changes in them........i everyday go to a nearby temple where 2 year back everything come in form of Prasad maximum goes in waste but now they bring change they give food to needy and send milk to purify and give to poor at a very low cost as compared to ordinary milk........... we always have to bring a little enhancement in life with ongoing world otherwise everything wheather personal life or religion everything get shattered at some point of time........

Some Hindus get rid of the arrogance(caused by maya) by surrendering to deities and once one get rid of maya(illusionary world) of senses they get to know about true self as to later on become all inclusive bhrama , but there are many non theistic schools of thoughts in hindu philosophy also like charvaka philosophy, certain approaches of vaisheshika system or even nasadiya sukt..old Indian universities like nalanda ,sharda peth ,Takashila etc were destroyed in centuries of destruction hence certain misinformation is prevelant

PK is an EXTREMELY POSITIVE Movie. There is Nothing negative in this movie. PK is one of the All Time Best movies ever. It gives the message of thinking beyond traditional ways and looking at things from a Completely different and Common sense perspective. Movies like PK are much needed in today's polarized world. A fresh perspective, a new outlook !

Gotta look past offence you feel personally and take a step back to see what kind of chess this movie is playing. Not your standard 2 D chess. Most definitely 3 D or 4 D chess throughout the film. It’s definitely not easy to conceptualize all the religions that were touched upon and get a good understanding of what they’re about in this short movie. There were clearly some questionable reactions by PK to some religions. However, his character is supposed to be showing humans through the eyes of a species of life that also look similar to humans but don’t have all the different kinds of quarrels PK does from his planet. This movie is the exploration of an idea. For every answer PK comes to, he’s also asked a genuinely innocent question. That’s what the movie is trying to say. To treat questions of doubt as a genuinely innocent question so we can approach them with love and understanding that transcends our differences. So that we may one day live in a world where misunderstandings which lead to fights and bloodshed are just misunderstandings because someone is genuinely curious about the differences which act like a wall that keeps us apart to break them down to live in a world where we focus more on the similarities. Instead of having problems with muslims, Hindus, Christians,Buddhist, agnostics and atheists, what problems do we commonly share and how can we ascertain an answer amongst ourselves instead of simply relying on what we individually view are our God’s opinion in the matter. We CAN look to each other for solutions to better coexist. This is definitely an idealistic way of looking at things. One might think that’s a lot of reaching what I just said above but if you sit down and have an unbiased academic discussion about these kinds of topics, you will certain get a chance to reach some profound answers. And then the movie ends by showing that he taught people to love again and he learned from people how to lie. That’s the real joke, punchline and aha moment. “Think for yourselves.” That is the thesis of this movie. What do you think? Is it an idealistic way of looking at what we can achieve if we worked together? Does PK, the character and the film, offend you and the religion you practice and why? Stop lies, Hindus don't worship idols or god instead they worship the deity through idols only after giving it divinity by doing "pran pratista", Hindus accept many ways to realize reality and one of them is to invoke spiritual realization through deities to become bhrama . According to English, God is The source of creation hence only bhrama is god, everything has its own deep symbolic significance like for example replacing of Ganeshji head by shiva(the consciousness) symbolizes replacing arrogance and establishing auspiciousness hence every new work is started with ganesh..likewise for knowing metaphorical meanings of Purush&Pakriti ,shiv parivar etc read orignal texts instead of stupid manipulative films which are done without any knowledge
