In Part 2 of our reaction we encounter tragedy, love, true love actually and controversy.
PK, has fallen in love with Jaggu and just when it seems like things might go his way in taking down the guru who is exploiting people in their desperation, tragedy strikes!
The one friend PMK made happens to find the thief of the amulet and convinces him to show up at the talk show face off PK will have with the guru. Tragically a bomb goes off at the train station when PK’s friend arrives with the thief, killing both of them and any chance for PK to have vindication in his approach to challenge the guru. When a terrorist group claims responsibility we see yet another aspect religion humanity has distorted for its own selfish gain.
Another sort of “explosion” goes off in a figurative sense when PK faces off with the guru at the talk show and we learn truths that will set Jaggu free despite absolute humiliation. PK suffers through and through and masks it so that his true love will flourish and recover much of what she has lost.
As PK leaves Earth we get some truly tasteful directing and acting as PK chases a bus and Jaggu finds out how PK loves her…
This film packs an emotional punch along with setting the stage for great conversation regarding the philosophy of religion and its expression through all of humanity. We attempt to tackle some of these topics as we breakdown and review the final Part of another Amir Khan masterpiece.

The movie never insulted any religion, it insulted what people have made religion to be over time as they manipulated the actual scriptures and meaning of each religion. Blindly following anything is ridiculous, so it’s good to question as it makes you wonder and figure things out on your own, instead of just blindly following anything.

It didn't insult actually but one thing they could do was that they should have put the other religion's bad in light toooo.....they didn't show anything about islam how their maulvees organize triple talaq , halala, khatna etc and how Christians converted by offering food and money to poors...... hypocrisy is what bad in PK . They showed Tapaswi as a fraud and radical...ok! We agree, but the question is where are the radicals, bcz islam is the most radical religion in world right now. Actually the insult was that they think mocking hinduism is tolerable, we don't have any problem in pointing out our bads but they shouldn't have treated us so lightly compared to others !!! Right...?

@Sumanoharam Jha Kashmir files was a well researched film. The kashmiri pandits were interviewed to know their thoughts about the film. Some of the kashmiri pandits said that this film is just as an election campaign of bjp for the 2024 elections. They said kashmiri pandits are just used like a tissue paper to gain votes for bjp but the govt hasn't done anything for them. They also said that every voice of opposition to bjp has been shown as a villain in the movie they also added the statement that the terrorlsts that came during that time attacked Hindus and Muslims of Kashmir but only the story of Hindu victims were shown in the film to propagate a narrative they said a lot of Hindus and Muslims helped each other during that difficult time which wasn't shown in the film and they said the film makers didn't show that bjp was in power when that kashmir incident happened, and they added that this film will create a divide in India it will instigate a feeling of hatred towards a religion and can disturb social environment.

Hindus don't worship idols or god instead they worship the deity through idols only after giving it divinity by doing "pran pratista", Hindus accept many ways to realize reality and one of them is to invoke spiritual realization through deities to become bhrama, According to English God is The source of creation hence only bhrama is god, everything has its own deep symbolic significance like for example replacing of Ganeshji head by shiva(the consciousness) symbolizes replacing arrogance and establishing auspiciousness hence every new work is started with ganesh..likewise for knowing metaphorical meanings of Purush&Pakriti ,shiv parivar etc read orignal texts instead of stupid manipulative films

@@kreysteller5470 yes ,Certain Hindus get rid of the arrogance(caused by maya) by surrendering to deities and once one get rid of maya(illusionary world) of senses they get to know about true self as to later on become all inclusive bhrama , but there are many non theistic schools of thoughts in hindu philosophy also like charvaka philosophy, certain approaches of vaisheshika system or even nasadiya sukt..old Indian universities like nalanda ,sharda peth ,Takashila etc were destroyed in centuries of destruction hence certain misinformation is prevelant

This type of movie can never be made today with social medias like Twitter and WhatsApp being so much popular..... It made more than 500 Cr. Indian rupees then and I could see no one offended by that movie because Social Media was not very much prevalent in those days.... Boycott movements are actually killing Creativity of Indian Industry... This will be the last movie of its kind to be made in India.....

PK is an EXTREMELY POSITIVE Movie. There is Nothing negative in this movie. PK is one of the All Time Best movies ever. It gives the message of thinking beyond traditional ways and looking at things from a Completely different and Common sense perspective. Movies like PK are much needed in today's polarized world. A fresh perspective, a new outlook !

Thanks for the great reaction guys. This is one of my all time favorite movie. And i'm just astonished as to how ppl found this offensive. I as a hindu, felt so much enlightenment after watching this when it came out 10 years ago. As a kid i used to blindly follow all these "guru's" or "Godmen" and whatever illogical things they said - "you can't do a certain thing on Tuesday but Wednesday is fine" - "God will only listen to you if you go this special temple in the mountains" - lots of examples like that and always lived in fear of god - as if i don't do the right thing (as per these godmen) the god will punish me - This movie just changed my perspective - And instead of fearing my god, i started loving them...I don't feel like i need to go to any temple to connect with them...they are everywhere and can watch us all the time and all i need to do to connect with them is be a good honest loving person (as much as one can be in these times) and try and be humane to ppl around you, especially the less privileged...And most importantly - any time you want to connect with your god - just close your eyes, think of them honestly and voila - they appear :)

These ( idols and picutures) are imaginary and made by humans and no one has seen the real creator. I respect the sentiments of all devotionals and avoid to use anything wrong which hurts someone's beliefs. This is one of the reason there is no picutre of allah and no one can replicate him in any manner. Love and peace✌️

It could have been if it didn’t just focus on one religion and ignored the others . We appreciate it. But do the same with other religions, it feels like they are targeting just one religion because we are more tolerating, others wouldn’t be so tolerant that they’d even let the actors live

It's not an insult to Hinduism but rather a soft wake up call to blind follower across all religion. The purpose of religion is lost over the course of last few decades across all religion(perhaps to due monetary benefits or a political one). Either way, the movie says exactly that to look beyond what is infront of you than to accept everything as it is. Personally I liked the movie. And one missed out thing from this movie would be love. It can cross all boundaries (even the alien world).

OMG is focused on Hinduism and PK is focused on whole Religion concept. Both are great but i like PK cause their is no such thing like GOD exists

Hindus don't worship idols or god instead they worship the deity through idols only after giving it divinity by doing "pran pratista", Hindus accept many ways to realize reality and one of them is to invoke spiritual realization through deities to become bhrama . According to English, God is The source of creation hence only bhrama is god, everything has its own deep symbolic significance like for example replacing of Ganeshji head by shiva(the consciousness) symbolizes replacing arrogance and establishing auspiciousness hence every new work is started with ganesh..likewise for knowing metaphorical meanings of Purush&Pakriti ,shiv parivar etc read orignal texts instead of stupid manipulative films which are not done with any basic understanding

Great reaction to a great film. I always love whenever this channel reacts to a movie because unlike a lot of other reaction channels on youtube(no hate to them), I often feel like I am actually learning something new, not necessarily something that I was very aware of before, something I agree with, but in a different point of view. I'm talking precisely about your review of the film. I think it was very on point, and even though it probably won't change their mind in any capacity, I reckon a lot of people would actually benefit by listening to that. Faith is important, not to spread hate, earn money or as a means of violence, but to help people who need help and to spread love and kindness to all.

When i se this family the way they seat the way they dress, sensible talk.. They are goood parents and they are raising there kids so well.. So you can see ihow all kids are very analytical and takes all the inputs and they express.. Now a days its missing parents not giving time to kids..and specially if i see the kids now a days many they just missing the good behaivior to elders and morals.. Dress up..yes they need help.. I mean many..

Yes, there was nothing offensive as such if you look at the bigger picture and the message that the movie tried to deliver.... similar was with the case of OMG- Oh My God(2011)...it's core theme was to point out the malpractices done in name of god worship and that "find god, not in idols but among people"...but it was taken otherwise and things went in the wrong direction.And the movies received equal love and hate for those reasons...

Nobody felt insulted while watching the movie or even after they watched the movie. Some people started feeling insulted after some politicians started saying that it was an insult to Hindus. I guess they just wanted to prevent all the fake babas from getting exposed from this movie as the babas and gurus have good political contacts and they want to prevent all the Indians from becoming rational otherwise nobody will vote to politicians based on religious sentiments. I am being 100 percent honest by saying this that when I watched this film in theater thrice with my parents, friends and cousins all the three times people were enjoying this film like crazy they laughed at funny scenes and were emotional too at some scenes.

It's not an offense to hinduism. It's a mirror to reality because we all pretend to be divided based on religion and we partake in a whole bunch of activities that don't make sense. We are all 1 people. The worst part is people with no doubt who feel the need to defend their god by harming others or killing others.

Pk was the first movie which I watched in theatres when I as 12 years old , as there was a revolution around everyone was watching pk movie in 2014 released in 19 December and I watched it after my school winter vacation completed on 5th January and I completely love the film but right now it is being imposed in our brains that it is controversial 👍👍👍👍
