In this connection I would like to recall what Shakespeare said about mercy in the famous story, "Merchant of Venice", through the character of Portia (in disguise): "the quality of mercy is twice blessed; it blesseth the one that receives and the one that gives".. thanks Ma'am once again for the highly invigorating tale about Dronar.

Madam I'm one of your ardent fans. Prayed for your speedy recovery when you were ill. Thank you very much for your excellent renditions which not only educate children but is very much helpful for those who has vision problem. The way you recite in your majestic voice gives goosebumps and bring back mahabharatha to life. So with great humbleness i write what little I know. I read somewhere that drinar was born without parents i.e his father's seed was poured into a dhronam which means vessel pot which developed into a child. Something similar to test tube baby. That was why he was called dhronar. Madam can you please recite in your own way of Krishna avathar? Your fan's humble request

Great Narration. One thing I would add was when Thurupathan performed the Yagam, he wanted two things. A Son to kill Thuronar and one daughter to suit Archunan. Thurupathan became a fan of Archunan after he got captured. Also, when Asuvathaman went to Pandava's camp at night and he first killed Thristathuiman, in a most cruel way by kicking him to death, before killing sons of Pandava's. Fascinating stories within the story!!

Correct. Drupathan wanted one son to kill Drona and one daughter to marry Arjuna to befriend. A tricky situation by which Arjun automatically stands in the opposite side to Drona.
