We got them 3D printed based on just an icosahedron online pattern. Some people have built molds with sheet plastic as well.

Typically between 48 inches and 52 inches. Below 48 for anyone under 5’6” works as well.

How do you take the glass off? Just tap it to break it off?

Peter Francis yes. The key piece is using a release agent before the concrete goes in. We us WD-40 or dish soap to coat the molds.

we use a solid bamboo supplier in the US. If you search solid bamboo on Google it’s the only one

Appreciate the time you took to make the instructional video. I do have couple questions. 1. I live USA and wasn’t sure where to pick up bamboo.Where did you pick it up from? I looked at Home Depot but didn’t find any 2. Dimensions of you bamboo like length and thickness I would appreciate if you can respond to my question.

We buy solid bamboo here: www.byxscommercial.com/product/solid-bamboo/ We want a total length of between 48 and 52” so if you pull the pile up 1” off the bottom, just reduce the overall length you want by 1”. Handle width is around 1.5” or so. Whatever is comfortable for you.

What length & diameter dowel/bamboo pole would you guys use that would support a 50kg gada well in your opinion?

We love the overall length of 48-52”. 50kg is extremely heavy, we’d probably look for a 2”. It will be really tough to swing.

@@bsorenson1960 let's hypothetically say I go with a 52" length stick But I use a 20 litre pail bucket for the concrete which is roughly 14" in height Would I need to deduct the bucket length off the 52" stick?

@@Omega70 You would deduct the bucket height and an additional 2" as you should lift the pole off the bottom of the bucket 2" with that much weight. This then helps not have the pole push through the bottom. So 52-2-bucket_height would do it. Overall 52" from ground to top.

Sashank Iyer 1 gallon container makes a 20lb Gada.

We shoot for 1.25 to 1.5 inches diameter.

I made three gadas , problem is the concrete small particles keep coming out how do you suggest to fix that ?

Most likely the concrete mix was too dry. It should cure solid, check the portions of water to mix. Good luck!
