I used an ESP32 chip and 3 servo motors to convert an old cheap thermostat to a smart one that has the capability to connect to the internet and be controlled through Amazon Echo.

M2 self-tapping screws for servo motor mounting
#4 self-tapping screws for ESP32 mounting
Regular Philips Screw Driver - Preferriably PH0 or PH1
