Very useful...the part about being 'locked in' when you create the strategy through a course was useful for my own PacePro initial tests. I created a new one based only on distance and then it worked here right away (as opposed to the 'hypothetical' test of my Snowdon ultra pacing plan when I'm in London).

It would be so good if Garmin would release PacePro and training load on Venu 2. Then this watch would be complete for most users like me ...unfortunately is not at the moment which is a shame really. Are they any plans for that or it is reserved for Forerunner and Fenix series only ?

Hi, nice video thanks. I'm just getting to grips with this feature and I think I understand it much better now. Is there a way you can use it with your headphones ie some kind of voice guide so that you don't have to keep checking your watch? I should say I'm using the Fenix 7.

Hi Garmin, Pacepro is a great feature. I’m wondering if there is a way to start a pacepro strategy part of the way through a run? For example if I’m going to do a 2km warm up run to the starting point of my course, then when I get to the start location, can I somehow start my pacepro strategy without having to end and save the initial 2km warm up?

Does the watch give feedback through beeps or buzzing, to inform me that I am too fast or too slow? Having to check the watch every now and then while running does not seem perfect

Thank you for your feedback. While PacePro lets you know how far you are ahead or behind your pace for each split, it does not have a built-in pace alert feature. If you would rather be alerted when you are running too fast or too slow for a given pace, you can set those alerts up in Run Settings > Alerts > Add New. You can then turn on the Fast Alert and Slow Alert. I hope this helps.

That's a great question! The real-time pace is the actual pace at that moment in time, and fluctuates regularly throughout the activity.

Thank you for your question. Yes, you can create a PacePro plan for track running. While you typically create a COURSE for your PacePro plan, you are able to create a plan based on distance and pace or distance and time.
