Ciao everyone! Today I am sharing how to shop your closet for some European street style outfits! Specifically, what people are wearing in Croatia. I created some timeless Spring and Summer looks using my travel capsule and wardrobe essentials for Spring and Summer. I hope you like them!
On this channel, I share #slowfashion and #sustainablefashion tips that center around how to #shopyourcloset, and restyling pieces you already own. I also spotlight brands that I believe in every now and then. I believe in #creativityoverconsumption, and that we all have the power to be conscious consumers.

Am Croatian-American. I'm so glad you're highlighting ingenuity & stylishness of Croatians. ♥️ My mom uses a garment for years once it's unwearable. It's a rag for housekeeping for years. The last step of its life is to be used in the garden to deter hungry birds from wrecking plants. Some of this stuff is 40 years old!

I was going to ask, are you not tired of your scarf? But then I thought, the scarf is the main character of your channel! In kind of a fun and cute way, and you always manage to wear it differently, so I thought about a scarf I own and what to do with it. Also, it reminds me of that episode from The Simpsons when Marge finds a Chanel suit and she is always changing it up, talk about cost per wear!

I really enjoy all of your tips for styling different pieces, to create maximum wearability for clothing. I too, love to find pieces that have become staples in my wardrobe, they really are timeless and you can pair them with other things to create a new look for each season. It is fun to visit different kinds of stores, vintage and thrift shops do take time, but there are some great hidden gems in every one I’ve been to. Thank you for your inspiration!

Loved this video so much! It's great to see Croatian street style - every place seems to have that certain je ne sais quoi and it was interesting to see your analysis to help determine what's really going on that makes it so stylish. And once again, I adore seeing the "first pass" of the first outfit and why you switched certain elements out. This sort of thing is soooo helpful in learning not only what works but what doesn't, and most importantly, *why* (or should I say, why not)!

I really enjoyed the inspiration looks and how you carried those themes into your own outfits. I especially love the scarf as a top - that looks so beautiful and is a wonderful way to extend the utility of pieces in your wardrobe. Thanks also for mentioning the idea of rolling up the sleeves on the darker top - it seems as though it would be obvious to try those variations but we don’t always think to experiment, especially when getting ready quickly. Lucky you getting to spend time in Croatia! I went on tour there a few years ago and was so impressed by the beautiful people and style. In Zagreb, on Saturday morning, it's like a fashion show. People sit in the outdoor cafes' sipping espresso while beautiful people stroll by in their finest fashions. Dubrovnik is one of my favorite places. We took a Game of Thrones tour with Davor and got to dress in costume and sit on the Iron Throne. Definitely a highlight of my life!

I will never get tired of ur scarf!! I love flowers and I love scarves, so I can't get tired of it. I'm always happy to see it used in a new combo too (and isn't that a tenet of this channel? 😁). I loved how it contrasted w the black pants, but the overall look still looked very "wearable" and comfortable (gotta have airflow in the heat!!). Such beautiful ladies!! Hehe I love seeing stylish people. Last night I saw Jann Arden,and I was obsessed with all the different types of people that came to see her too. One gent was wearing a beige t shirt with fringe down the front , like that's a choice , a bold one, and he did that!! Lol my favorite was this older lady, she rocked all white and the only colour was in her hair with cotton candy pinks and blues in a fun bouffant ...really wish I had been thinking and asked for pictures of these fabulous people.

😉 Sensational to see a sample of Croatian 🇭🇷 Street Style. You offer a 🆒️ cross section of looks. Beautiful empowered European women rocking their own style. Gravitate toward skirts vs pants, so it's nice to see a long classic pencil skirt featured👍. Collected a bunch of quality suit sets from my corporate days that I'd like to wear as separates again. 😬Tend to neglect the longer traditional pencil & midi A-line skirts. The shorter pencils seem more easily to translate into a more sporty, casual vibe. 🤍Liked Masa's "Retro Feminine" vibe. 🤗Could easily repeat that essence in a darker palette. When I do wear trousers, I probably lean toward 🤍Rina's darker timeless silhouette. 🤔Could add that fun pop of color & pattern with a mad tote bag or maybe a scarf tied as a headband. 🤍Ana's look is more a departure for me. 100% love her pretty white prairie yoked top. It pairs so well with the light BF style blue jeans👖. Adore the juxtaposition of ultra summery girlish femininity mixed with a comfy boyish style. Her blue suede peek-a-boo toe shoes add an unexpected touch of glamour. 😄For myself, could only think to invert the sophistication factor into a soft white sleeveless shell top, while doing the boho portion in blue denim shorts & white platform sandals. ❤️ Love your fashion analysis. Liked all 3 outfits for all of the different elements you detailed〰️& how you cleverly reinterpreted them to suit your closet options. I loved the format of this video! So great to see what people are wearing in Croatia in the heat and your inspired versions with your own clothes. I am in Barcelona but going to Paris this weekend with 37 degrees Celsius of heat and I don’t think jeans will be in my luggage - I haven’t worn my jeans since late April as I find them too hot in the summer. I wish I could because they are my staple item the rest of the year!

You gave me a totally dif idea of recreating. I used to think that it should be the same but you look for structure and style. It gives me so much inspiration for my own style! I’m gonna try a low buy from June till at least the end of the year. I was already more conscience but I’m ready 😂 great vid, love you 😍🥰
