Part of me regrets watching to the end, but only because I'm fighting back tears. I left Corps in 2008, and there are days I think of friends I've lost and I feel guilty for getting out. On those days, I get online and watch some moto vids to remind myself there are good men who stand ready to do violence on my behalf. I now tuck my kids into bed and thank God for Marines like these in 1/5 who have given so much for us. We are forever in your debt, brothers. Thank you, and Semper Fi!!

To all my 1/5 Devils, this upcoming month marks 4 years, 4 years since our hardest month in sangin. Myself having produced this video with kowshon Ye, nate McCord and Jason Morrison, have still yet to watch it again in its entirety since the night it was played at the ball in Vegas. Well today I did. And I wanted to ask all of you, is it still a bit hard to watch the whole thing for anybody else too? Seems like yesterday. Rip to our fallen brothers, never above you, never below you, always beside you. Make peace or die!

Yes. It is still hard to watch.... and it is because you guys did a great job in making this moment in time. RIP fallen Sangin Marines, either from this deployment, the 3/7 deployments, 3/5, or those that succumbed to their problems after the war. Semper Fi.

Saying Thank You just seems so very, very, inadequate. Words cannot tell the appreciation of have for these young men. And all our warriors past, present & future. And you to sir for your service and sacrifice. I was a mechanic in the Navy, non-combat. Did lose 2 of my shipmates line of duty deaths, one my best friend. That hurt me so deep. I cannot fathom what combat must be like. I have a son & daughter older than these young men. I dont mind saying I wept watching the end of this. Semper Fi

It's amazinf what these guys do everyday. My Great great uncle, I believe, was the youngest commander of the 1st Battalion 5th Marines at the age of 18 I believe. His name was Harold T.A. Richmond, I find it amazing how time changes but the warriors stay the same

PART1 To the families of these dedicated young men: I apologize for all the stupid and naive remarks that have been placed upon this site. I feel your pain, I salute you for your courage in having to deal with such a tragic loss. I wish all of America could see the ending of this video; the photos with the background pictures is heart wrenching. Those of us who were combat Marines pay tribute to our fallen comrades when we reflect on how lucky we are today.

Part 2... We never shed the guilt of knowing better Marines and Soldiers fell in our place. The passing of time makes us all realize how fruitless these conflicts really are. The trauma that is thrust upon us all is only eased by knowing we had the chance to serve with men who were willing to give their all to help each other.

I appreciate your dedication, but just a quick hint: You either say oorah (as we do in the corps) or hooah, used by the army and air force. But anyway, stay focused, keep exercizing regularly and keep your target in mind, and we'll hopefully meet one day as fellow marines! Much appreciate your support, it's good to know that even the youngest still got our backs.

Part 3 That experience is shared by all people who are fighting for what they believe in! May your suffering be lessened by knowing you brought a special being into this life; One who was willing to stand up, and fight for what they believed. I place my hand over my heart to ease your pain. Know that your loved one had your blood running through their veins when they fell, be comforted in knowing, their just a thought away……… just a thought away.
