I started my niece and children credit at the age of 5.That's when they can sign their signature. When they turned 18, I removed them from my credit line. After they opened up their owe credit cards. Today my children are 21 and 32 with a credit score over 760. And as for a person credit line. It depends on your yearly salary. Don't use half of your credit card and if you do. Pay it off before the 30 days.

The information about the Business Credit is not accurate. You CANNOT use someone else's home address. It HAS to be a business address to get the good credit cards. Use one of the business centers or virtual offices so it is a business address. The phone number also needs to be REAL and searchable in the 411 or information directory.

You actually don't have to pay interest on your credit cards to build your credit. I went from a 520 to a 650 in less than a month just from getting my credit utilization down to less than 10%. The key to building your credit is that want to pay your statement balance off in full each month, keep your inquires low, and no LATE payments whatsoever. If you want to speed up the process just make sure your posted balance at the end of your billing statement is less than 10% on each of your accounts and watch your score shoot up.

You DO NOT have to pay interest on credit cards. Credit card companies report to the bureaus what they bill you and not what you pay. You can and should (if you can) pay off your credit card every month at any credit score.

Everyone needs to see this! Always pay in full every month. Never give the bank 22% interest on your money. Make the bank pay you for using their cards! If you're paying interest you might as well forget about your cash back or airline miles.

That’s not true. What’s reported is your balance each month, which could be what they’ve billed you or what you’ve paid minus what’s been billed by the statement date.

I'm not sure if this applies because the Guest did bring up "the bank making a little bit of interest". But from my own experience I do understand if you are trying to build or rebuild credit that there are games/rules to be played. Now remember he said if your FICO score is 650 and below, he would not suggest paying your card off - but if your score is 750 or above it doesn't matter because you have already achieved your Goal. I once asked a credit card company for a credit increase and was told - they needed to see 12 consecutive payment instead of being paid off monthly and that I didn't carry a large enough balance...WHAT?! So I'm not saying I like the game, but I kind of understand what the Guest is saying. Plain as day, that company was looking out for their Bottom Line.

Love the show usually but the “expert” on credit was highly biased against a proven strategy of credit repair. Credit experts do what many of us don’t want to do. Like mowing the grass or washing the car. I can do it but I make more money not doing it and just paying someone to do it for me. I went from a 500 to a 700 plus credit score in a month using a credit repair service. Then I applied to 5 credit cards that gave me $70000 in credit cards limits (at low interest or 0%) that I use to fix n flip cars with. I make 25-30% returns month over month. All money in! Credit repair works for so many reasons I would pay $1000s for it. I wrote this comment @30:00 in so if the information changed ... Mybad! Lol

Just want to clarify something for Canadians 🇨🇦 regarding student loan deferrals. In Canada, when you apply for the repayment assistance plan(RAP) the government makes the interest payments for you so it appears as paid (doesn't show up as a derogatory remark). With this program you need to reapply every 6 months. For the first five years you're in Phase 1 which is just interest payments being made by the government but after those 10 application periods you are transferred to Phase 2 which means the government starts paying down the balance as well. All these will appear as on time payments, however, once you are in Phase 2 you cannot get another student loan until you get off that program and make payments yourself. If you do go back to school at that point or while in Phase 1 and get an additional loan your payments will be deferred automatically until 6 months after graduation.

I disagree with him on payng your card off every month. What you should not do is pay your card off earlier before your monthly billing cycle is up. It may sounds confusing, but this is where automatic payments come in. You pay off your card when the bank is expecting you to pay it off and it automatically come out of your account. I've been doing this for 6 months and my score has been going up ever since.

I think you literally just saved my life Graham, I’ve been struggling to find a way out. I’m currently an N.A waiting to get certified because of covid and stuff but I support myself and my grandma. I don’t have anyone to turn to for help, I’ve been trying to save but I can’t because of bills and renting my apartment and everything. But this, literally helped me look to a brighter future. My grandma is crippled so she cannot do work or anything. Most people have parents to turn to but I don’t talk to my mom or dad. This literally helped me so much because since i met 101expunge🎡com the real issue i have about debt was solve in some weeks am sure before June of my birthday i will be home owner

2GoTravel It’s actually 3x. It was a philosophy of purchasing a car. Basically if you make 60k, you can get a 20k whip and live comfortably. Sadly, most folks get whips close to their income, due to the fallacy of payment appeal for long term.
