I'd like a video on your fancy dies. Different ways to stretch, squish, and deform under the dies

Hi. is there any chance you can do more videos on handle making/stabilizing/wood dying? your video on how to stabilize wood for beginners was amazing and id love to see some content expounding on that. you can have the nicest knife with the cleanest lines ever but if the handle isn't up to par, it detracts from the entire thing. I imagine many people would appreciate some more content on that

Graham is the man who knows his stuff, much prefer listening to a fellow Brit opposed to the Americans who THINK they know everything just cause they went on that bloody TV show.

Great Video! Is Graham using any flux? Love from Austria 💚💪🏻
@grahamclarke4470

No flux. If the atmosphere is gas rich it is reducing so will (theoretically) lift any remaining oxides allowing clean metal to weld together. Flux gets into the forge refractory and reduces its melting point to the point where the refractory/oxide/flux mixture melts whilst you're forging - yuk 😒😒

I don't use flux. I set a gas rich atmosphere which prevents oxidation and not using flux gives my hard working refractory lining a much longer life.
