In this video I'm making a leather pouch style knife sheath for a Spyderco Mule. The video shows all the steps involved and I've tried to make this somewhere between the short videos I do with no talking and the longer tutorials - anyone wanting more detail than shown here should check out my longer videos.

I just finished making my first sheath and wanted to say thanks for making such an incredibly informative video. There's so much information around, and so many videos, this boils it all down and explains it so clearly it was like having somebody who knows what they're doing standing over my shoulder the whole way through. Mine didn't come out perfectly, obviously, but it's a hundred times better than it would've been if I'd just try to have a go based on all the different videos/forum posts/blogs etc that I've looked at. Thanks a million, Ian.

It's always a beautiful thing to watch a master of his craft create a work of art. Leather, metal, wood... these materials speak to us on a primitive level and to see them formed into tools is to see something magical. The care and attention that goes into every aspect of every step in the process is just awesome. Thanks for taking the time to share this!

While I'm searching for tools, I've been watching videos to learn the basics and get some theoretical knowledge to prepare myself and let me tell you that I have learned a lot from this video! Thank you so much. You are actually the first one who explained the stitching process and I just learned it from you. You also explained why you did what you did and that helped me a lot as well.
