Another thing with cuddle fish is you can marinade it in butter wrapped in tin foil, keep it in the fridge for a month, take it out, throw it away and buy some fresh salmon. Pretty cool working medium. I really hate it when the ferrets in our neighborhood jump into my camp fire out back the house!!! Awesome texture!! Looks like a rain fall pendent. I like the clean silver smooth one the best.

That is really cool and beautiful!! I only learned a few years ago that those bird things were from a real live animal and that makes me sad. Especially as I love cuttlefish and think they are super cute. It makes me glad I do not have pet birds any longer. Thanks for sharing. - Heidi

the steel probably acted as too much of a heatsink, i guess that's why it quite didn't fill the casting

That was most unexpected. The textures on both of the rings came out well. Both are equally as good, both have their unique properties. Does the shop still smell? 🙂

Haha! Luckily it aired out :) I actually moved out of that shop and set up a temporary shop while we build a bigger one. You'll get to see it in a few weeks. I should be filming in there this week!

Well First Of All. You cut the the Cuddle Bone in Half. Sand a little. Then you get 2 flat pics. So you can tie the 2. Best way to cast what you want.. The caste peace has a wonder full testier. I am willing to cast a ring. Using you idea. And where did you get that Saw you use.

I like this idea but not looking forward to the smell and the rough inside of the ring I would think could end up causing the wearer of it pain in the future !! Nice Job as Usual !!

Thanks! Yeah I wondered about the rough texture also. The look is awesome but I'm sure the smooth inside version is where it's at.
