Will this work on stainless steel?

I have issues with my silver coins getting warped on the reed side. I’m not sure if an annealing process issue or the folding. It’s getting expensive

Got a coin punch today finally - not a Jason Works but cost me £68. Used a dapping block and a round punch from a 25 piece set - set cost £29.99 to cone the coin. Then a £75 ring stretcher to even it out and a light wet n dry sand on cut edge and done - my first Quarter coin ring and appears perfect! Chuffed it was good - now when i get a workshop bench etc instead of doing it on a saw horse i'll be ready to make various others 😊 I did anneal it and it turned black ( modern 1989 quarter) so at the end just used very fine wire wool to lightly clean and hey - antiqued look.

Skyler, help me😕 Everytime I get to the end of my coin ring.(without swedish wrap) I put it in the dome block to round roll the edges, only 3~4 mm above flush, and the bloody things squash sideways instead of rolling. I keep ruining the rings. It looks easy on youtube. For the life of me, I cant see what I am doing differerent. 50c 1966 Aussie round.

Hey Skyler, great videos by the waqy... I know you're way past this point, but I have had some problems with my bands getting a wave in them. They aren't slanted, they have a wave in the reed side of the ring. I think this video explains it, but I wondered what your thoughts were... I think it is due to the fact that #1 I anneal them, and #2 because I first stretch them with the reed side down. If I stop doing that on my silver quarters, will that help me correct this problem?
