Probably the most rewarding and relaxing video Ive ever watched. I look forward to the day that i have the time to do this. And you are excellent at teaching and explaining the details..

Perfect balanced approach to making primitive arrows for the average toxophilite! Thanks Robert!

This guy is fantastic! As an archer from UK theres nobody ive seen,in years of shooting that makes things so interesting and inspires me so much to make things effective and traditional. Ive spent money both on bought and making my own. Loving the style, and that Southern accent too!!¡ Best wishes from South England 😊

haha, the best line of the day! "When he runs up the tree and thinks he is safe.... he is not, I'll shoot him." hahaha. love that. Man, I have a new found appreciation for spending $100 on 6 fletched arrows after watching you cane out some arrows. A dozen of those would cost a fortune!

Thanks for taking the time to show us the RC way to make a primitive arrow. You are a good teacher, I like that you explain your thought process. It’s helpful in learning a new skill. Take care!

Dental floss? Good idea! Definitely will try it on the 6 huntin' arrows working on. For use in trying/gluing on fletches, I find TB3 preferable to TB2. TB3 is more water resistant and, just as importantly to me, cures considerable faster. Thanks!

I have cut cane all my life for fishing pole and mostly set lines. I would take the green cane and hang it in barn from tip and add weight to bottom and it would dry pretty straight.

Hey Robert I learned from building cane arrows they are good arrows and they shoot well the secret over spine ur arrows, i shoot a 40 and a 45 pound bow so I spine my arrows for a 50 to 60 pound bow and they shoot like lasers
