Nice job. I never thought of doing a filing down with a drill and a grinder. Annealing.. so you could drill it easier. I'm assuming the drill bit had a blunt end to help make it roundish? When you were done forming the rivet head.. is there any reason why you didn't harden it? I would harden it for long term use. Any case great video even though you didn't explain what you did.

$12ish for premade vs $8.50ish for self-made plus materials and time. It's good work, but the economics aren't great because your time is valuable. But you did get a cool video and tool, so rock on.
