This is a great video because it’s simple and the point. This may sound stupid, but one of the most important parts of the video is when you mentioned what to do when you don’t have access to both sides of the rivet. Obviously the first thought is to get help from somebody else but I wasn’t 100% sure if that was the case. Anytime that I have tried to rivet with another person you would think it was the most difficult thing they had ever done. Every single time the person holds the bucking bar crooked, deforms the head and tells me to keep going until they have destroyed the metal and cold fused everything together.

I just got my 3x gun for building my rv10. Practicing tonight. I'm getting better, but watching you set a perfect rivet in a single shot was so satisfying to watch :D. I'm having a hard time with understanding the air pressure and the gun adjustment on my 3x gun (737 kit). Will I just get a feel for it through trial an error or is there a better technique to get it setup the first time? My tool didn't even come with instructions. I don't even know where to put the oil! I'm sure I'll figure it out by the time the kit arrives. Thanks for the time you take to make all your videos. They are all so helpful.

if you are right handed, use your second finger on trigger, first finger lays down length of barol. much better control with less chance of damaging your project.

W Will it’s more to do with fatigue than control but aight

Great video. I'm not building a plane but repairing rivets in my boat. I am curious if you guys use any sort of epoxy or other adhesive to keep water in/out. Is this necessary or does the rivet create a tight waterproof barrier? Also, any brand name "kit" for us beginners?

Usually we put sealant but is it waterproof I don’t know
