This is the second repotting on a Rose I bought from a nursery just over 2 years ago. I'm also making the first steps at turning a Rose I grew from a seed into a bonsai.

You’re videos are great, roses are like the only pretty flowers that grow where I am and I am very interested in bonsai so this is perfect for me thanks, so much for such great content and please keep up this great work.

I have a very old one. Extreme miniature bundles grafted onto an even older root stock. It always blooms prolifically twice a year. Its losing steam but I'd bet it will keep going a few more years. You have to remember to cut them back at the right time. I dont remove the longer growth with flower buds. But you would for a show to keep it compact.

Noticed a few of my comments haven't made much sense lately. Just that they need to be pruned back hard to look like a tree. Otherwise they develop even a vine characteristic. Reminds me I better get going. @@EuanEllery

If your doing bonsai, I'd prefer own root roses.

Hi 😊 I haven’t in a while but I have an auto system I either get someone to turn it on for me (like a pet sitter or friend normally) or set up a timed tap system
