Incredible design and execution. Sat down to watch before Today at the Test started. I'm totally blown away. It is such a pleasure to watch a craftsman show off his skills. I learnt so much from the vid. As for the vid length i like long detailed vids like jer schimdt puts on but I also prefer a test match to 20/20 so i maybe a breed on the verge of extinction. And yes better than the coffee table, incredible.

I absolutely love this! Its a true work of art and the care you show at every stage shines through in the finished product. BTW, Full build videos are better. But film everything and publish the details separately - for example, how you made the drawer pulls, the kumiko, etc are all worth of a 10 min video of their own for people to replicate that technique.

Sean, this piece is fantastic. I'm sure your client loved it. I can only imagine how long the Kumiko work took to complete. And I thoroughly enjoyed the length of this one. It was concise with enough detail to let the viewer know how much effort went into the construction without it being too lengthy. Well done young man.

Thank you so much Pat! The Kumiko did take a while but it was a lot of fun, highly recommend giving it a go! Glad you liked the length of the video, it's difficult to judge sometimes, if it's too long or not ahah.

I prefer to watch a full build in the one day, even if that is over multiple videos. I find when videos are spread over several weeks you tend to forget what has happened in previous videos. Regarding cutting veneer with a track saw, i was told to drag the saw over the veneer backwards almost like a scoring blade would do. This is ment to give a far superior cut quality. Something you might want to try with an off cut of veneer and see how it works out.

Thanks for the feedback Derek! That's an interesting idea, using the track saw like a scoring blade. I can see that working well using the depth stop.

@@SeanEvelegh I am sure it was youtuber Ramon valdez fine furniture, that gave me the tip for cutting the veneer. He does some amazing work using veneers. Not sure if you have came across his channel but well worth a look if you haven't.

Looks great! Really like the attention to detail and extra effort on the kumiko panel! Looks so much fun. For small dobs of glue I like to use a small syringe with a curved tip. Can really ease some of the RSI when applying a lot of detailed glue!

If multiple videos means more detail, then I'm a fan of multiple videos. Often I will "save up" all the videos in a particular series and stream them together into a *longer* long video, even. Also, your small shop (especially before the expansion) helped convince me I could do useful work with real tools in my single-stall space, too. So thanks for that!

Sean, love the video, really well balanced, just the right amount of know-how, great music (as always!). Super impressive piece, you have a fantastic eye for detail, proportions, color composition. If it comes to length, I think it is better to divide them. I often skip even pretty interesting clips if they are too long (15 min+). If I know and respect the author, I don't mind longer videos, but for channels I know nothing about, it has to be very, very intriguing (but not clickbaity...) title/thumbnail for me to even consider spending my time on it. Just my 2 cents. To add another 2... From my perspective, I am always interested to see how does one deal with unexpected issues, in general problem solving with things that affect all of us, but are rarely mentioned in detail (like glue sueezout, clamping complex pieces etc.). Again, and again, super grateful to be able to see your craft, for me, you could keep it as-is, and I'd still click:) Good luck!

Thank you for watching again mate! Thrilled you liked this video and the build. Thank you for the video feedback, I agree it good to divide especially when it's a big complex build. Good to know about problem solving, I think that could be very helpful as well.
