Making a welding table | amateur fabrication and TIG weld

In this video I fabricate my first welding table, cutting and grinding the steel and TIG welding it all together. I'm just starting my metal fabrication and TIG welding journey so I can turbo my own Suzuki Bandit 1200 and make other motorcycle modifications.

Thanks Jay it’s good to be back. The table will be really helpful with the turbo build and can’t hurt getting some more welding practice in!

Great video mate, nice to have you back on our screen's. With regards to your table top I would weld on lugs underneath and then bolt it to your Frame, that way you can easily change it if need be. Looking forward to the turbo build stuff

Thanks Adam, it’s good to be back. I think that’s what I’ll end up doing. Got some wheels for it this week, will be good being able to move it around the garage

Nice work man 👌 I'd just suggest welding in a stretcher or 3 underneath the top to help offset any potential warpage, will probably happen anyways but if there's a bit of reinforcement it will at least keep it more or less flat! Good to see your vids again :)

I’ve got one cut and ready to weld in, will fit it the same time as the wheels. It’s good to be back certainly has been a while!

Newcomer to the channel.... looking like my sort of viewing as got the 600 in bits right now.... one thing... get a bloody guard on that grinder.... 1, I'm a welder by trade and 2, been caught out by no guard too many times.... you will get hurt fella, I promise you!! Sorry, H&S police hat off now.... looking forward to more content and reviewing the back catalogue
