In this video I show you the production of a custom made crash bar for a KTM motorcycle.
This is not a complete motorcycle project, but I show you the interesting fabrication steps.
Have fun watching.

Beautiful work, I personal like the quiet in the workshop as I see you do, keeps me focused on the work and puts my thoughts in straight order ;-). So this quiet makes your vids elevate the sounds of the tools you use and this is way better than a song on background of the videos for me. Nice place, keep up the good work! Like the perfection in your work!

As always a nice build. This is the first time I realised you shop is on the first floor. The crane is a really nice solution.

Yes, the crane makes many things easier, only very heavy machine tools it can not. (More than 1500Kg )

Superawesome! I enjoyed both videos, very helpful and satisfying to watch. You're using some techniques I wasn't aware of. I am curious if the logo from which you removed the coating will rust.

Unfortunately, I noticed it only when editing the video. The motorcycle was already gone. It would be better if I would cut the videos directly, but sometimes that is not possible in terms of time.

Perfection as usual 👌that equipment you have downstairs is some serious stuff for mass production, is the motorcycle fabrication a side line ?

I wondered that. The bike shop is huge but would be more affordable if it was part of a bigger business or owned by the business. We need a q&a sometime I think.

Do you only have the magnabend , or do you have a conventional folder too , how do you find it ? Ive fancied one for years but would question its ability over a longer fold .
@KRTframework
@KRTframework 2 жыл бұрын
The magnabend is already very good for thin sheet metal, and body components. 2mm aluminum works up to 1m length, narrow parts in 3mm stainless steel work up to about 100mm width. But downstairs is still a large press brake, which I can use.
