I really wish you had shown the finished, diluted product. It would have been so helpful seeing the color and thickness of the goat milk liquid soap. Otherwise, the two videos on this subject were helpful. I especially appreciated your tip on determining the fat content of your goat's milk in the soap calculator at Summer Bee Meadow.

Thank you! I enjoy doing it. It did take time to learn the process and how to correct which had me pulling my hair out sometimes but now it's a piece of cake LOL!

Hi Chozenvezl, What happened was the Sony Bloggie I had bought started giving me lots of static and other problems. I had to look for another camera and just purchased one a week ago. I have some of this batch left so I can scent some and thicken it like I usually do which will allow you to see the color etc. I always dilute the paste and leave it in a 5 gallon bucket and scent etc. as needed. I need to make more liquid soap so I will be doing another batch shortly. HTH, Robin

how do you lower the pH?
@conneaness9 жыл бұрын
Couldn't you pour the hot water into the soap pot; sorta like draining the pasta out of the cooking pot?
@RiverCountySoapworks8 жыл бұрын
+conneaness because my batch size is 17lbs it is easier for me to heat up the water and break up the soap paste. Even when I used to do smaller batches it was still quicker for me to break up the paste rather than just adding the hot water. I'd say do what ever works well for you but I'm thinking not breaking the paste up will be a longer process. Try it.

hello i want to know you cook your soap for long time in the oven do u still cure your diluted liquid soap after its ready and if you do cure your liquid soap how many weeks please or can we use it right after
@RiverCountySoapworks8 жыл бұрын
+Sonu K You can use it right after but it makes better soap if you can let it sit for at least a couple of weeks.

I'm Sorry she makes the whole experience look laborious and not fun. I Understand it has some challenging steps but after looking at this video I would not want to try it..Thank God for soap queen. Also don't drag the audience thru the whole stick blending process, learn to edit and get to the point
