Better is subjective. The XTool software is fine to get started with and has no problems with simple projects. The moment any kind of complexity is added, Lightburn starts to shine. It's initially harder to set up and it can be overwhelming but the amount of features give you the ability to do just about anything you can come up with. Whether it's worth it or not depends on what you plan to do with your machine.
