@khartbeats
@khartbeats 7 ай бұрын
Hey, thanks! I'm doing better and happy Xmas eve to you, too. I'd say Pigments is worth it if you enjoy sound design...it's insanely powerful and you can mix multiple wavetables with samples and a granulator engine. If you mainly just use the presets, I'd say probably not.

@@andrewbardusk4861 sure thing! I'm planning on doing a mixing video, but most times I'm using EQ to clean up low frequencies that will interfere with bass. And in this one I also ducked one frequency that was very resonant in the synth chords.

@khartbeats
@khartbeats 7 ай бұрын
I started close to the same…I bought a midi keyboard that came with Live Lite. Just take the time to learn the interface and when/if you feel limited by it, consider upgrading to Standard or Suite. It has everything you need to make most of the music you want to make 🙂
@joshpinho

@@joshpinhoI think Wavetable is only in Suite. I’d suggest maybe downloading a synth plugin like Serum (paid) or Vital (free) if you don’t have Wavetable. They can do much of the same thing, just a different interface.

I would like to commend you on your production sound quality, it's second to none. But you need to slow down, you far rush the steps in so many ways beyond this project. I guess this topic and project is far way past your interest. But it's my observation. You could maybe slow the pace of explaining that the steps to import the samples. They are not installed by default. And the way in which the samples are dragged onto the Arrangement View and not the Session View. Although that is plain to see in the video you have provided, but not to a novice. These are just a few issues i have with this tutorial. Your rushed Controlled keyboard steps are hard to follow rushed., i cant understand them or hear you. Ctrl + Shift What?.. I know you are giving a free tutorial, but some are paying. Have you thought about text on screen giving a flow of your audio and direction.. At least if your not being followed audio wise they could read it.. Blind people that cant hear, they can follow you. lol a joke for you..

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve found for this platform (KZfaq), videos between 12-15 minutes do best. I do my best to fit making an entire song into this very small timeframe, which is not always easy and a lot of the smaller details do get cut sometimes. Other than a very few generous souls who have given me a super thanks, I do these tutorials for free and can’t afford to devote all of my time to them, unfortunately.
