I made wings! These are a little different from my typical wire hanger wings, but I like that they have some movement. I had no idea flailing my arms around could be so taxing, but my arms were so sore after trying for like half an hour to look graceful while flapping my arms like a madwoman.
Someone asked me “what are they for?” and I had a mini existential crisis. Like, dude what is anything ‘for’ really? If I had to justify the existence of everything I make this channel would not exist. What are phone charms for? Stuffed animals? 1/16 scale miniatures? CROCS? None of these things are necessary, and yet they persist.
“What are they for?”
~scoffs~ to go flappy-flap. Duh.

Edit:
In regards to COPPA and the FTC,
While I’ve worked hard to make my content accessible and enjoyable to a broad audience, my content is not intended for young children. I regularly use potentially hazardous tools to create art including open flames, heavy gauge wire, sharp pins & sewing needles, razor blades, as well as a sewing machine & serger. These are tools no child should be using unsupervised, and by extension, children should not be watching these videos without supervision. I’m so happy when parents tell me my videos inspired them to create art with their kids. I think arts and crafts are a wonderful way to connect people of all ages, but not all arts and crafts are appropriate for young children, and should not be attempted without attentive supervision and guidance.
My videos are not intended for children. To those that would suggest that anything relating to fantasy, magic, fairies, and angels must be created for children, I’d point out the existence of shows like Carnival Row, Game of Thrones, Lost Girl, True Blood(Spoiler: series contains fairies), Good Omens, Lucifer, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and many more, are compelling evidence to the contrary.
Additionally, according to KZfaq analytics less than 5% of my audience falls in the 13-17 age range (the youngest age group KZfaq analytics provides data on) and the vast majority of my audience is over 20.
Also, a little update on me: I have been going through one of the worst periods of depression I’ve experienced in quite some time. I’ve barely been able to get out of bed for the past 3 months. My mental health has all but abandoned me, my physical health is suffering, and I don’t have the means or access to seek professional help. This has contributed to the lack of updates on all of my social media platforms. However, these developments with KZfaq, COPPA, and the FTC, have been less than encouraging and this very well could mean the end of my channel.
To anyone who’s enjoyed watching my videos, thank you. It’s nice to know I’ve brought people a bit of happiness.
Thank you for all of the kind and supportive comments! I hope you continue to find inspiration and happiness through creativity and art

This is really stunning. I think I might have added some removable golden wrist attachments so that whenever I moved my arms the wings would move and sway along with the movements 🤩

I LOVE these for when we can go to raves and music festivals again lol I’ve been raving for over 12 years and when I first started everyone was really into creating their own outfits....in my area at least that has changed and it seems more ppl where purchasing things you would find on Dollskill or websites like that (which is still cool) but I still like combining that stuff with stuff I make and I’m for sure making these wings! Sooo cute

Did you trace yourself, or have someone help you? If you managed to do that on your own, I don’t know wether to be impressed or slightly scared of your flexibility. 😂

I can only aspire to be scary flexible, I'm just regular flexy. I didn't trace it all in one go, I started with just my arm then l could just lay down and trace my body. Not super accurate, but good enough to get a size reference

Look at belly dance wing poles for future wing projects i maybe would have made them drape wider, but thats me. Don't be to harsh on yourself bout the shaky hands bit. A lot of artists have that issue. Fine motor overuse and all that. I should know I'm one of em. Otherwise awesome use of the organza

I would love to see a video on how you care for your hair. I'm trying to grow mine out really long and it's about halfway down my back right now. I'm terrible at doing braids because it gets tiring for my short arms 😂 your hair is so pretty

I'm afraid it would be a pretty boring video, I just wash it once a week. Occasionally I remember to put some coconut oil on it, but other than that, and not owning any heat tools (because burning objects near my face and neck eep! scary) I don't do anything special. French braids are as close as I get to an arm workout, by the end of it it feels like my arms might fall off!
