Constantly reading complaints from people who say Hollywood keeps having nothing but reboots and no original stories and then you have this man, this one of a kind director give us one of the most original movies I’ve ever seen and all people can talk about is that it’s not as good as Get Out🤦🏻‍♂️

Nope is one of the greatest science fiction movies of all time. It was something new, fresh, unique, inventive, stylish, cool, edgy, hip, and updated such as the concept and themes due to the story, performance's, music, images, astomphere, tension, performance's, ambition, direction, and cinematography. It was decent.😍👍💯😎

Nope was a loving tribute/homage to classic Spielberg, in particular Close Encounters Of The Third Kind and especially Jaws. So many brilliant Spielbergesque qualities to this movie, from the characters and music to the cinematography and old Hollywood 1950’s style visual effects with the UFO. But it also reminded me of classic Alfred Hitchcock. The way that Jordan Pelle builds tension and suspense in this film( as well as all his films)and the suspense and buildup is better than the payoff, just like Hitchcock used to do. Even touches in the film reminded me of classic Rod Serling era Twilight Zone in the vastness and scale and scope of the environment and focus on a small number of characters in a mysterious unusual situation throughout

This movie is bloody phenomenal, in many way's it is Jordan Peele's magnum opus in my opinion. Sure, it isn't an intimate psychological horror movie like Get Out, but that's just the thing, it isn't Get Out, it's NOPE. All of his movies are really unique and different to each other, but while still hitting similar undertones and themes/messages, and tbh I wish people would stop comparing everything to his first movie because it isn't really fair to pigeon hole him. This man is a creative force of nature, and every time he releases a movie I am really excited to check it out

Jordan Peele and Hoyte Van Hoytema pairing up is amazing. Throw in the great cast and production design and you have one hell of a movie. I just watched it for a 3rd time since it’s release and it gets better with each viewing… I’ve seen Oppenheimer 3 times in 6 weeks and rewatched Dunkirk & Tenet as well. Hey ya all, please help me understand: What is the message of this movie? It is very good crafted, but this is not the main reason why movies are made, right!? We all can agree upon the fact that movies are a form of communication. Since EVERY communication is sense driven, then we have to ask: What is the sense of the communication of this story? (I hope I have made myself clear.) Does anyone know for sure without any jokes? Thanks a lot! Bwt: English is my 3.rd language, so exacuse me when I am bad at it. :D

It could be about many things depending on what connects with you most. 1) Human understanding/misunderstanding nature is probably the main one 2) Siblings growing closer through trauma 3) Human desire to do anything that will get them famous, and as an extension of that 4) Hollywood's obsession with getting "the perfect shot."

@@carlotta4th You seem to be talking about interpretation. I don't care about the people who think this movie is good, but this movie absolutely sucked balls. One of the wrist movies I've ever seen, and a complete letdown from Jordan Peele since his previous movies were really good. But this whole alien thing and the decision to make the alien spaceship act the way it does and look so damn fake is just so low on the scale this movie should have been with the budget they had for this film. Such a let down. My 5 year old could have drawn and come up with a better alien ship. It made it so non believable to me and was just cheesy. Oh no, if you don't look at the alien ship it won't eat you, but if you look at it then it's going to eat you man.
