With the social distancing we're all doing because of the COVID-19 situation, many of us are cooking more than we were before or needing to pull meals together with only the items we have on hand. Here are some tips to help you create meals that are satisfying and take some the stress out of planning and preparing meals in this uncertain time. I'm also sharing some food safety and grocery shopping tips so we can all do our best to take care of ourselves.

Welcome back! I use Worcestershire sauce as a sub for fish sauce in my curry (as it has anchovies in it) 🙂. Just a thought for those that might not have fish sauce. I know a lot of speciality items were sold out at my grocery store.

That's a great idea! Soy sauce is another good substitution. I've found that the international market near me is well stocked too.

I know you don’t grow during the winter, and that you’ve moved, but I’ll tell you it’s so reassuring to harvest from your home garden during the quarantine. Great to see your content during these times!

Hello! Thank you for the tips I will watch this properly tomorrow when I’m awake. 🙂Btw can I request a video on urges to comfort eat during this time? I generally don’t comfort eat anymore but the stress of everything (and PMT) has led to me buying a lot of treats I normally don’t keep in the house. And of course I’m eating them. I wouldn’t mind much but I’m obese and was starting to lose weight with a dietitian and don’t want to backslide. Any tips would be helpful , thanks. Xx
