Making Tested's Blockhead Puppets!

Jamie, Adam, Will, and Norm get transformed into adorable plush puppets! Stage prop fabricator and fan of the site Sean Harrington made these awesome blockhead puppets for us, utilizing some cool modern technology to streamline the design and build process. Sean walks us through how the puppets were 3D modeled and then prototyped with a laser cutter, allowing him to iterate on the design to change the look and puppeteering comfort of these flapping blockheads. We're smitten!

Hahaha! You guys are great. Yes, I said "Correct" a few too many times... a little nervous... no Vivance, coke, or other pharmaceuticals. I was up a bit late the night before working (unsuccessfully) to finish the Jamie puppet. Thanks for all the comments, good and bad! All feedback is a gift!

You don't seem too nervous, and the puppets are very nice! I wonder who drew the original designs, I always envy people who can whip up so much resemblance with so few lines. (or is it just my brain that wants to match blockheads to someone familiar?)

Maybe it's just the puppet theme in my mind whilst watching this, but i cant help but recognise a kermit the frog accent when Sean pronounces some words :P And that's not a bad thing!

I know this videos old but I have two of those whatnot puppets and they're not so great. They're hard to move the mouth without getting fatigue fast. I know eyre a hundred bucks but they could also look better.
