The best Nigerian #waterleafsouprecipe. Nigerian soupis a subtle /versatile that made with different fresh vegetables and fresh meats.
It can be enjoyed with semo,cassava fufu, eba ,pounded yam, amala ,to mention but a few.
This soup is made within minutes especially when the fresh vegetables are prepped before hand ,so grab your cooking untensil stay turned and enjoy the cooking process while it lasts ❤️🙏🏻.
List of ingredients for waterleaf soup 👇🏾
Fresh waterleaves
Smoked fish
Fresh pepper
Crayfish
Beef feet
Stock fish
Maggi powder
Palm oil
Onion 🧅
Salt 🧂 to taste
Preparation👇🏾
Add the beef feet
Add stock fish
Pinch of salt 🧂
Grinded pepper 🌶️
Maggi powder
Add water
Stir & cook for about 80/85%
Pluck the waterleaves
Wash with salt thoroughly
Cut the leaves into small pieces
Squeeze the leaves to remove excessive slime
Set aside for later use .
Once the meat are half way cooked.
Add pepper
Crayfish
Palm Oil
Maggi powder
Add smoked fish
Stir & cover to cook for 10-11 minutes
11 minutes after
Add the waterleaves
Allow to simmer for 2 minutes
Stir nicely
Taste for seasoning and turn off the heat .
Serve hot with hot semolina 🕺!! Perfect match made in heaven 🥰😀.
