More than ever, video is becoming one of the biggest parts of our daily lives. It educates and entertains us. So creating a brand video to live on a client's website is a must. You need them to tell their story, and when they do, you'll need just the right imagery and music to evoke the kinds of emotions in the viewer that will help them connect with the brand. On this episode of Building A Brand, the team at Blind will be putting together a brand video for Hamilton Family Brewery's website. They'll travel back out to the brewery to shoot interviews and b-roll, shoot beauty shots of the cans and beer back in Santa Monica, and then finish everything off with the cherry on top - Finding just the right music track.

Incredible job as always guys! Sad to see this season coming to a close. I kind've grown attached to Josh & his wife. I hope you guys find another client to continue the series. I know it's a ton of work but there is no other production company doing this right now so you guys should definitely continue the series. Thanks for all the content you put out for us.

I love these kind of videos where directors and producers openly talk about and document working on projects, it makes it feel more Relatable if you too are working on similar projects and also gives you insights of the back-end effort to create masterpieces. I may be alone here, but I am so thrilled to see Matthew, Ben, and The Futur do a segment on video and video production in this episode. As someone who was inspired by Blind's music video for Jet "Are You Gonna Be My Girl?" back in the day, I am so excited that I saw a glimpse of their process today. I hope we get to see more from The Futur about their video production process as well as the video production business. Great job, Futur crew! Excited for the next episode!

@@MatthewEncina Thanks for replying. I'd love if we could peek into Blind's, and The Futur's video production process and video production strategy for a medium-to-large scripted ad or video. I think following The Futur along like "Building a Brand" through all three stages of film production would be interesting because there is a lot to conceptualize and schedule when shooting video. Plus, I'd thoroughly enjoy seeing the hands-on process of the creative professionals at The Futur conceptualize, create, and complete a video. Maybe like your interactive Coldplay music video, which I know was expanded on in an earlier video, or how to design a video like Do's Mini Cooper "Daydream" ad, or make a simple, fun video like the Subway "Who Invented the Rueben?" ad. Anyways... I'd love to see The Futur just do what they do best: inform, imagine, and inspire but with video. Thanks again!

"As soon as you're ready to hit record something breaks, something stops working, or something unexpected happens." YES! WHY!? I was out on a shoot yesterday when my camera just froze and died. Luckily I was close to home and I could run back quick and get my old camera that's not as good but at least works. Anyway, loved dat b-roll guys. Well done!

Loved this; not just this video but on everything you're putting out. (Coming from an ECD with +20 years experience) Just a quick note on the background noise you were struggling with...If you (or anyone reading this) have more than one sound recorder, never be afraid to use one outside to capture the background/floor noise and then use phase cancellation - it can make all the difference. (Make sure you don't pick up any of the wanted audio though ;)) Whoever's working the sound will usually know the risk of peaking once you get going, so it'll be up to you to judge whether it's worth risking that against an annoying background...or if you have more than two recorders, you're all good! Again, this series has been fantastic; keep up the great work 👊

That video honestly evokes so much emotion and sense of family and community. It's honestly perfect. You can tell how much that video meant to them and how emotional they were as they watched it for the first time. Blind delivers yet again.

Ah what an absolute delight to see Josh and Crysten's faces as they watched your gorgeous video for the first time. It conjures up all the wonderful moments we get to enjoy in our privileged roles facilitating joy and meaningful connections. And the Blind team does it with inspirational panache, of course. I look forward to seeing the video in context on the HFB website when it gets published.

God, 21:02-21:04 that part where you pan the beer, logo sketches and into the final painted logo with the beat of the music was gold. I literally got this inspiring feeling from it. Great job overall. The final video really gave me that feeling of a happy journey. Hits even more cause it feels like we've been a part of this design process a whole. I'm gonna miss this series since there's only one more ep after this!

Awesome job on the video! The music was perfect, I felt it but I never found myself just listening to it. It was the perfect accent to the beautifully shot video. The whole thing was well produced and assembled. I want to like this video 10 times!

Another great episode! Enjoyed the BTS of making the video.....and great B roll footage! Thought the final video really captured the essence of Hamilton too. Again, not sure about the hops pellets, but that's just me. You did however have a shot with the actual hops flower too so that helps balance it out. This entire series has been fascinating. Plus, all of us outsiders doesn't really realize all the time, work, effort and resources that go into branding/rebranding something. Really appreciate the effort you guys have gone to not just to show the process but to put the video series together in a professional manner.

Wow!! Amazing job from beginning to end. Their smiles after seeing their video was "Priceless." I thoroughly enjoy all 10 episodes and they're 110% correct about "Taste Appeal", after seeing that beer flowing in that glass with those extra drips, I was COMPELLED to open my fridge and grab a "cold one." LOL

We finished watching this entire season this weekend. So inspiring. Not sure why but this last episode, the great finale made me sentimental. Ben , Matt and the entire team are such precious assets to the company. I can't wait to visit Hamilton family brewery. You ALL ROCK!!! 👍🍷 Hope one day soon, we could also work with you guys. Our goal was to bring our business to 8 figures by Jan 2021 from mid 7 figures but that didn't happen due to multiple factors that were out of our control.
