It took me a couple of years before I could make anything that was even remotely decent, and then for some reason after all the struggling you can throw better. 20 years on and I'll admit I'm still learning new things, and you just keep on improving. How do you center the clay so fast? It takes me 5 mins to do so

wouldnt that explode in the kiln? Because the moisture inside the egg would become steam inside the egg. And without an exit for the steam it would just explode .-.

Wow, I've been watching your videos for quite a few days now on making/throwing different pots on the wheel, and being that I am in a Ceramics 1 class this semester... you make this look SO easy. It is incredibly difficult for me to even make a simple cylinder! It is amazing watching you do what you do. And if you dont mind me asking, how many years have you been doing pottery? And what kind of clay do you use? (We use earthenware at my school =) )

It looks kinda easy but at the same time it looks very hard so satisfying

I have done a pottery wheel for 2 years and the worst part is when you have to put your hands on the moving part and the side of your hands burn

at my local beach there's clay in the lake and if u let it dry and knead it a little it can be used as pottery clay
