I got this Makita lithium ion battery operated string trimmer (weed whacker) and paddle sweep (paddle broom) mainly for the paddle sweep attachment to get gravel out of grass. It works AMAZING for that. The string trimmer comes as part of the kit with the brushless power head couple shaft and batteries. I already have compatible Makita cordless circular caw, reciprocating saw and flashlight. There are 170+ different tools you can use with the 18v batteries.
