Malaysian street food is amazingly delicious and Kuala Lumpur is full of food everywhere you look!
The first dish in the video is known as Nasi Campur, a truly delightful Malaysian street food that consists of a giant plate of rice accompanied by an assortment of various side dishes. I chose fish curry, chili tofu and a bunch of other delicious vegetables and garnished.
Next I stopped at a famous place near Little India in Kuala Lumpur to eat an Ikan Bakar grilled fish. It was grilled in some kind of chili sauce and served with a limey chili sauce that was absolutely spectacular.
When it began to rain, I decided to drink a cup of milk tea teh tarik, one of the most famous beverages in Malaysia.
The next meal was at Hameed's a restaurant specializing in Indian style Malaysian street food known as Nasi Kandar. Along with a plate of rice covered in curries, I aslo ordered a plate of biryani, and a side of tandoori chicken and plan naan.
I couldn't leave Kuala Lumpur without eating the absolute mos comforting Malaysian street food: Nasi Lemak. After searching around, I finally found it at an outdoors restaurant. It wasn't the best nasi lemak I've ever had, but it sure wasn't bad!

My comment was in relation to Hygienic standards. I heard in Dubai, Muslim countries have good hygiene that is enforced by their faith.

When I travel, I'll try to taste a lot of different local dishes and most of them was delicious. But after 3 days, I will seriously miss Malaysian food no matter how delicious the food gets. No food beats Malaysian food!

I went to Malaysia at the age of 13 on my own to visit my dad, and I must say how it's changed me as a person. I may even consider living there in the future as it's such an amazing place and I really recommend it!!

Foods I miss most in Malaysia is their roti canai, ayam and daging rendang, ayam satay, definitely Nasi lemak and 100% unforgettable nasi campur. Full of flavours, huge portion and very reasonable aswell! Not only the food is reasonable. Almost everything there is reasonable. Malaysia, Korea and Maldives are in my 100% revisit list.

So for Christmas my good friend bought me a handmade Malaysian Parang. I absolutely love the craftsmanship that went into it and the performance it yields, So much so that it got me interested in the Malaysian culture. So far, in my opinion it is safe to say that Malaysia is the America of Asia. Many beautifully mixed cultures.

i really don't understand why people so disgusted when someone eats with bare hands. AndroidGameplayVideos It really depends on the culture. I know a couple of French who were shocked to see an Indian guy started to eat with his hands. And we were all in the States. You can say the French are pompous and "high-class" but to be honest, I think they grew up and taught not to use bare hands for food as it is probably unhygienic and disrespectful. So in short, culture to culture basis.

( They should keep wiping their whole body with tissue than having shower cos its more cleaner for them to use tissue than water right?) Best Cleaning product is water and eating with hand will give you lot of benefit, specially it will help you to digest better. Do some Research Please.

AndroidGameplayVideos It's a culture thing. They get socially brain washed to believe that using forks, spoons and knives is the "proper" method of eating. In NyC, we eat Pizza with our hands. But in Miami, they looked at me like I had 10 heads when I used my hand to eat pizza. Pizza! With a fork and knife? You've got to be kidding me! I didn't mind, I just enjoyed my pizza and I know that the ones I was lunching with wish they would have used their hands too. lol

Great to hear you'll be visiting Malaysia soon, thanks for watching this video. For Malaysian street food you'll pay about $2 - $5 for a really good and huge meal. Other snacks are just in the $1 range - so for a day of eating a lot of street food you're good on $10 - $15 - and that's a lot of food!

My wife and I visited KL for our honeymoon. Gee it is a beautiful city. We absolutely love Malaysian food and people were nice as well. Definitely going back there when we get a chance. My favourite food in the entire world is Assam Laksa !

+ThePiggy Technically, but Malaysia is a multiracial country consisting of Malays, Chinese, Indians, Punjabis, Kadazandusuns, Ibans, Portuguese, Dutch and a bunch of small tribes who have been living in Malaysia for generations, so our food gets CRAZY mixed up. And Roti Canai is Malaysian-Indian dish which is awesome!

Mine is nasi with fried chicken, grilled fish with sambal kicap, siput chop, kangkung belacan, Kari ikan, asam pedas ikan pari, patin tenpoyak, masal lemak nangka, masal lemak rebung, sambal ikan timun, crab soup and prawn sambal with kicap and sirap laici as a drink. Truly Malaysian food.

That deep fried dumplings you had are called "karipap" inside there are potatoes mixed with some curry spices and are wrapped with a thin layer of dough and fried so it becomes crispy and the fillings inside become warm
