As a DCFC supporter we've done some dumb ass contracts and dealt with so proper shit agents. Nothing surprises me, i remember when we signed Ravanelli when he left we still carried on paying most of his wages and at the time was unheard of.

Sadly stupidity matched by many clubs since. Leeds united, Portsmouth spring to mind. When Redknapp managed P’mouth his wheeling and dealing cost the club for years after with staff being paid

@@andygordon1028 The signing on fee is a signing bonus i.e. it is awarded once. Even then, that equals £110,000.

You seem to be missing the point kevin. Malcolm is telling you a story about how happy he was to sign a contract but his agent though best and tried to tell him he was worth more. Now this is very common in football still today where agents are ruining young players carrers using this same method
