On the evening of December 26th, Firefighters in Malden responded to a building fire on John St. On arrival, crews had heavy fire running the exterior of the house into the attic. While crews began an aggressive attack, a flashover occurred trapping several firefighters in the building. Subsequently, a 2nd and 3rd Alarm were struck as the trapped firefighters were rescued and transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Companies continued an interior attack and the fire was brought under control in approx. 40 minutes. My footage begins 12 minutes after the 2nd Alarm was struck.
