it’s not Spotify’s fault really. It’s KakaoM. Their distributor. Apparently Spotify’s contract with them ended and they can’t come to another agreement because KakaoM has issues

I think Mamamoo is the most underrated girl group not just in Korea but also in the international stage. They have different voice texture but damn they compliment each other's voice and the swag of Moonbyul😍 love this girls😘😘

I'm an ARMY but I think these girls are the most underrated Girl group not only in their country but in the world also, waaaaay better than Blackpink.. More authentic, more free, more strong, more smart and of course more talented... For me just after BTS, it's Mamamoo even if I don't stan them .. not yet ;)

@@choenyiyeshi4877 It's not just the vocals... Great voices don't necessarily make great artists... it's a set about Mamamoo, the delivery, the authenticity, the charisma and of course the talent and the voices are not negligible... Sometimes pseudo sincerity sounds fake, but not for them...

But mamamoo is only “underrated” (not even that, they have hundreds of views) outside of korea, they are in the top 5 most famous girl group in the country (and worldwide) and the gg with most listeners on melon, this year they sell 100.000 copies of their album in the first day, and hip and starry night sell 100.000 in the us without promo, its just that their agency doesn’t promote them internationally, but they aren’t underrated.

@@Luavyy What I mean is that they deserve more success and recognition than what they have.. They deserve to be N°1 Korean GG not N°5... And it must be said that their agency doesn't have the same means as other labels but they have the merit to have debuted them without taking into account or imposing certain standards of beauty whereas they had been rejected by the other Big3 labels telling them that they were ugly and fat.

@@yasminesb7947 Mamamoo is not underrated in their country they are popular in SK and one of the most respected group in K-pop industry. They are not idol in K-pop they consider them as an artist. It's just that they are not promoted globally by their company which is sad.

BTS brought me into kpop 💜 , and it's just been that way for close to 6 yrs now (though there are various groups I like here and there), but for about 4 yrs knowing kpop and all, I couldn't like/listen to any gg, I just couldn't. Then one day I heard Gogobebe and I just knew we'd be friends 😍 I really love Mamamoo there's something about them, their vocals, visual, their presence 😘 it's top notch. And Moonbyul is my bias 😁

I got the KPop bug because of my daughter. She got me in to BTS so I am an ARMY but I liked the Starry Night video when I heard and saw it. It got me curious about this group and started listening to their songs. I also saw the video about how they started and everyone doubted them, specially all the negative reactions to Hye-jin (Hwasa), I fell in love with this group. Nothing like rooting for the underdog. And then they did this Dingo Killing Voice! That’s it! I became a legit MooMoo from then on. I just hope RBW do more to promote these amazingly talented ladies. We need merch to show our stan to these queens!

First thing -> you can’t forget the little Wheein ! . The more you listen Mamamoo .. The more you can’t leave her out of the deal .. She is amazing . Second thing -> MoonByul was a singer . But they asked her to learn how to rap because they didn’t want to have 4 voices . Third thing -> It seems Hwasa was kind of sick that day .. Fourth thing -> If you want to remember them . . They actually show themselves almost always in the same order -> Moonbyul Solar Wheein Hwasa . Solar have a strong voice . (She can rap too) Hwasa have that amazing attractive voice . (And she can rap.) Wheein have that honey voice . An amazing mix between Solar’s strong voice and Hwasa’s attractive voice . (she can rap). Moobyul is always in the good tone . . A good balance in the group . (And she can SING DAMMIT ) . My vocabulary is too poor to describe their group (I’m not English). But they are trully under rated ! . Just for 1 thing .. Almost every one in the industry were like « they’ll never do it, they are to small (1m59 to 1m63) and they aren’t beautifull enough for being idols » . (In fact they asked Moonbyul to do surgery for her eyes at the start of their career .. Moonbyul’s eyes are beautiful as they are !). BUT WHAT? Just tell me which part of them isn’t beautiful ? People said Hwasa is ugly . UgWHAT ? Please. They are beautiful just the way they are ! . And they look fun to be around . (And so carrying for each other . Like a little family.). Damn .. talked to much. Thanks for the video ! :D

We know who you mean so don't stress about it but here's how you pronounce Wheein and Hwasa. Wee-In. Like you were once a WEE lad IN your youth. You can add a bit of H-ness to the W if you want to Whee-in, but as moomoos like to say, once you Wheein you can't Wheeout. Hwasa, not Ha-wasa. Drop the A sound between the H & W. Like Wasabi without the bi and plus the H-ness to the W. The first song was Mr Ambiguous. It was MMM's debut song. Piano Man was their 2nd single.

Byul takes a bit of practice but you'll get it. 1) say Yul as in actor Yul Brynner, 2) slur a B into Yul without adding an extra vowel: B'yul, 3) soften the U. The U sound is like uh rather than oo. English speakers often want to say Bee-yul or Bye-yul because we're not used to the B-Y combo. Hope that helps.

There's a actually a reason for it. Forgot what video where they go into mire detail, but basically they feel.more comfortable standing/sitting that way. If they change the order they feel weird, even to the point where they can't even do their intro right.

마마무는 데뷔 초에 회사가 작아서 돈을 벌기위해 국내 행사위주로 활동해서 해외에서 활동할 기회가 적었는데 해외팬을 공략할 기회만 많았어도 지금보다 팬덤이 훨씬 컸을거에요 8주년이 지났는데 해외투어 한번 한적이 없었고, 가장 잘 나가던 시기인 힙 활동이후 2020년부터 코첼라 공연과 해외투어 일정이 예약되어 있었으나 코로나가 망쳤어요 코로나만 없었어도 한국 아이돌? 걸그룹? 최초 코첼라 공연을 했었을 것이고, 해외투어도 해서 인지도도 쌓고, 인기도 훨씬 많았을 거에요 마마무 그룹활동이 뜸해서 한국 걸그룹 중 브랜드평판이 5위 안에 들던 마마무가 한참 내려간 것을 보고 속상했어요 이제 코로나도 완화되고 마마무가 올해 하반기에 컴백하니까 내년쯤 해외투어도 가능하지 않을까 해요 앞으로도 마마무 개인 앨범에도 많은 관심 가져주시고, 리액션 해주셔서 감사합니다👍
