I like the images you got and enjoyed your commentary. For me, my Mamiya C33 is a light weight, easily stowed camera that is hard to break. But I have mostly been shooting with 5x7 and 8x10 view cameras in the past year or so and that probably colors my perspective. The last time I shot with it was in the Los Angeles River (Ok... it’s not exactly the woods but there were trees and a couple of wild geese that kept honking at me). And there was one point where I was at risk of getting the cops called on me so it was nice to have a camera that I could move quickly with. I guess the way to turn a Mamiya TLR into a small camera is to shoot with an 8x10 for a while.

The C330 is a great camera, and like you said it is really meant for studio portraiture. I have found that many of the chrome lenses are sharper than the newer black lenses. I believe that since it was intended for portraits, Mamiya started making their lenses a little softer.

You got some beautiful shots. You shouldn't give up on the C-330. I have two C-330s so I'm a big fan. Give it another chance. You'll like it!

Just enjoyed your video experience. Have been using the C330 for about 10 yrs now, primarily outdoors in woods, landscapes, etc. Love the rack and pinion focusing, makes it very precise. Rarely used on tripod.

I have a c33 and love the experience of using it I had a c220 50 years ago and this camera brings back that time to me. How much did you pay for it I got mine in almost mint condition with a 105 mm lens for $150 and I bought a 65 mm mint in case lens for another $160 compared to modern cameras I think it's reasonable I paid $300 for my c220 which would be the equivalent of $ 2500 today I think this camera makes you be more creative and slows you down than a simple zone focus camera I like all of your photos and think if you had used filters they would have been even better I think if you sell it you will regret it I know I regretted selling my c220 back then just put it away for a while and think about it.these are wonderful cameras
