In this video I shoot a few portraits with my Mamiya C330 using some Lomography 100 and Ilford Pan F 50.
It was my first time using these films and I was pretty happy with the results, apart from the last 4/5 frames of the Lomo 100 which came out a bit weird and I don't know why!?

Thanks Tom, just got back from running off a roll of Pan F 50 in Folkestone Harbour using 65mm lens, I am still rubbish but not throwing my hand in yet.

Having a few cameras, I always give them a very small test first I look at them to see if they are sealed. And next, I take one roll of black and white film as cheaply as possible, and on a sunny day I take pictures. Most of the time everything works fine but every now and then something bad happens. In short thank you for this enjoy what you do and hope to see more...

Amazing how you move so fast and nail critical focus every time with the TLR, I struggle to do so with my Autocord. Love the one at 10:04 especially!

Jay Teo thank you! I find the mamiya pretty easy to focus with actually. I do manual focus a lot with digital also though so I guess it’s just practice.

Shooters often cropped out the the lower body parts loosing the boots. Head shots, 3/4, full length old school composition even on "think square Co position rule " I keep seeing almost nice shots on this C330 work horse

Stunning images, Tom. Watched last night... I went back to look at the images just now so am sorry if you said this and I missed it or don't remember... were you shooting with the 80 2.8 set? Thanks for sharing your work! (I shoot with the GFX and am contemplating a 645 or c330... I primarily shoot portraits and the 65 3.5 lens has me supremely intrigued, thus am leaning toward the c330.).

Hey Tom, where did you pick you back drop up from? Solid Images as always! The lighting lesson also really helps me out a lot. I’m going to have to give lomo 100 another try because I’ve yet to be able to get these kinds of colors.

Great shots. I’ve been looking into getting the 330. I’m not sure if it would be worth it since I have the Rolleiflex Automat. Would you say there’s a big difference?

Thanks. I haven’t used the Rollei to compare but the reason I went for the mamiya in the first place was the close focus ability which you won’t get on the rollei. Plus isn’t that model max 3.5 aperture? If you get the 80mm lens on the 330 you’re also getting 2.8 so those would be the 2 main differences.
