Those guys started out doing rock cover songs, some of them in English, altough none of them, I believe, didn't actually know much English. But they didn't seem to care, nor did the audience. However, it was only when they started writing their own material, that they eventually hit the top. Their first album sold more than a million copies. By then they were doing every TV show and around 40 gigs a month. They of course had to hire a plane, and was like that unfortunetly that, going from a gig to another, their plane crashed, and they all died. Their lyrics at first were very much frown upon by the critics, who thought they had a "dirty mouth". But people just loved them, especially the children, who knew every word.
