Man charged with kidnapping, murder of Toledo teens; causes of death stated by prosecutor

Cruz Garcia, 24, was arrested and charged Thursday with two counts of kidnapping related to the case. Garcia's charges have been upgraded to two counts of murder. He remains in custody and was arraigned Tuesday, Dec. 20, on two counts of murder and one count of kidnapping.
His bond was set at $2.25 million.
Per Lucas County assistant prosecutor John Arnsby, detectives said the cause of death of one of the victims involved strangulation and thermal burns, and the second victim's cause of death was thermal burns. He also stated the coroner's investigation is still ongoing.

Are you serious 😂? . What does the death of a man who died years and years ago have to do with two 14 and 15 year old teenagers who were brutally assaulted , tied up, murdered , and burned to death . And this case isn’t over .. for gods sake they STILL gave this man bond , regardless of how much it is he should be in there until he die. Mfs like you really need help .

I pray for all the familys heres bc some 2 kids shold not have been on streets at that age idc in toledo 4 days on end and as far as it goes this should have never had gotten this out of hand and now peoples lives in lots of homes r messed up by both sides YES EVEYONE KNOWS AND PEOPLE IN JAIL THAT DID NOTHING ( THE TRUTH ALLWAYS COMES OUT !! REMBER THAT ) AND IF IT WERE MY KID & FRIEND ID BE MAKING A DIFFENCE IN THE RIGHT WAY NOT IN BAD WAY !
