Living full-time in my rolling tiny home has been the best decision of my life. Off-Grid living offers a peace and connection to life that you just can't explain. When i first started van life i build a stealth camper van with the mindset the you had to live a stealth van life and i soon discovered that you can just live the city van life and boondock in the countryside and as long as you are respectful of the backcountry and cities you live in. Stealth van life in not necessary. Be proud of the life you choose to live, Share this van life journey with everyone. Remember Tiny Homes and The whole tiny house lifestyle is very popular and #vanlife is no different. When you don't hide it people will come say hi and ask you questions. The world is more curious than hateful. Well......Welcome to my everyday van life adventures. My name is Chrome Valdez and i travel full-time with Cruz the bulldog. Stay weird everyone and thank you for being here.

When I got out of jail I was living inside a Hyundai Accent for 8 months 1000 miles away from everyone and everything I ever knew in order to stay sober. I was eating ramen noodles with cold water from McDonald's sinks. I now have a wife, a kid and a house. I still have that same car along with another one I use when I need it. If there's any other heroin addicts out there keep your head up. You have to allow yourself to hit rock bottom before you'll change. I've been drug free since 2016 and anymore my past life seems like a dream. There's always hope.

@@RMJ1984 I moved into my van a little over 2 years ago. I left my 1 bedroom run down apartment because I couldn't afford it on my own. I'd reached the point where I had no cable, no luxeries like eating our or going to the movies, nothing & had a choice to make, either get rid of my old car that seemed to need more & more maintenance or get a van to live in. @@belingonza318 If you have water, evaporative cooling, keep it wet. Of course there will be the issue of calcification if the water isn't pure so frequent cleaning and waxing may be needed. I lived in my van in Vancouver (haha) for about 6 months while traveling there and saved for my ticket to the UK. Used a gym for a shower and playing basketball etc, used MCDs for internet and toilets etc. slept near the factory I worked 14 hours a day in and cooked noodles. I’ve worked in an office for 5 years and now from my office in London I can say whole heartedly that was the best time of my life. The freedom is invigorating. I recommend living this way at one point in your life. All the best to you.

I really enjoyed this video. He is full time working but lives the big life in a small van. In a world where resources are diminishing so fast, we need to hear E. F. Schumancer's message "Small is Beautiful", make 20% feel like 80% - Mike does that! I love how he has normalized an alternative lifestyle, and that is how we should all be like. How he made everything he needed shows resourcefulness and that innovative spirit we find in pioneers. Made my morning - big thanks to all involved in the making of the video. There is a Danish word that sums up the feeling of Mike's van - "hygge."
