Hi I read your comments. I have agoraphobia. I have pet dog called Molly she helps me a lot when I take her out as she takes my mind of bringing a panic attack on. I have also looked into help for her as my assistance dog. there are no organiseation in UK that help apart from support dogs that need to be registered. I looked on e-bay and purchased an " Assistance Dog" sign that clips onto her lead. I Use this if I have to go anywhere where I need her to be recognised as my help. Hope this helps. Robby.

Yes, as long as they’re trained well. They’re are duel Disabitly dogs.

Assistance dogs aren’t robots, at the end of the day they are still dogs. The halti can give an owner/handler more control over the dog. Also assistance dogs do know how to heel.

@@LindySouthern243 im just asking. If they have a solid heel command,which ANY dog should have. That does away with a head halti. And i though service dogs were all p+ purely trained? Not that im against aversives. My own lab is ecollar recall trained.

@@1cbrracer some owner trained dogs are e-collar trained. The head collar *im gonna use a guide dog just as an example* helps a blind person to know where their guide dog is as well as what it’s doing (eg, inappropriate behavior such as sniffing grass).
