You do not know what you are talking about - the event is one of the cleanest in the world - I have been to many music and art festivals and have never met people more conscious about cleaning up after themselves. Obviously not everyone is like that, but a great majority are. Whatever is left over is picked up by the Burning Man staff, who patrol the entire site with bags, picking up the tiniest pieces of trash (MOOP). A few years back they banned feather boas because the feathers tended to fray off. No outside dirt or plants of any kind are allowed in. It's irritating to see all the stupid comments on here, by people who don't have any first hand knowledge.
