Honestly possibly the best interview I've seen you guys do. So insightful, Rene talks so well and you can tell how he loves the club. I'm 100% with Jay though, wish you could've done another hour (or 10). Great show lads, hopefully have Rene back on before long

@@arvindjay8410 Just for Reds of a certain age it was a big deal - after winning the FA Cup the year before, it represented the start of the golden era and no one who was following United then will ever forget how great it felt. So it's a Paddock in-joke now, acting like it was a bigger deal than Premier Leagues, Champions Leagues etc. that came later. It's just a jokey thing for slightly older Reds who were there in 1991.

If I were Ole I’d find a role for this man. Technical coaching director for all levels. Speaks sense and worked excellently with Sir Alex and half of our coaches. Ole talks about a family unit with it’s own distinctive DNA. Rene has that in bucket fulls. Great insight and show boys

I have been following this channel (FTD and SP) for around 5 years now, I believe. Couldn't be prouder to see the progress these guys have made. I wish this football channel becomes the biggest football channel on KZfaq one day (in terms of numbers; it already is in terms of content). You guys thoroughly deserve it. Love. ♥️

That moment when you have to go to sleep, but you say to yourself "i'll just watch something for 5 minutes on KZfaq and i'll fall asleep by the 3rd minute" and after 1 hour and 9 minutes you're like, why isn't this video longer? Absolutely loved it! What a man Rene is, unbelievable. Best 1h 9min spent on KZfaq.

Absolute top-notch interview and insightful commentary on what made United tick during his time there, all in a language that for us non-technical fans can understand. Just to mention, no matter how great or revered the guest is, Howson expresses genuine awe but is never phased and keeps focus and confident questioning going. Top top work guys.

As a current football coach I mostly hate listening to fan channels because most of it I find its just fans doing what they good at which is talk a lot about the game they don't really understand but feel they would do better. Due to lockdowns I started watching these fans podcasts to pass time, have a laugh and to "act like a fan" TODAY I HAVE LISTENED TO AND WATCHED A GENIUS OF A FAN CHANNEL! Hope everyone finds how valuable this is. Whether you're a coach or not, a Manchester United fan or a rival fan. This is different class! I've had the pleasure of meeting Renee once before and learnt as much now as I did all those years ago Other fan podcast can learn from this particular episode!!! Yes I understand fan channels are meant to be about fun and saying all sort of madness, argue etc to get likes, shares and subscribes etc but if fan channels do things like this more often, it will help everyone's understanding of the beautiful game we love THERE ARE LEVELS TO THIS!!! TO ME THIS IS LIKE SIR ALEX FERGUSON SITTING AT THE TOP OF BEST MANAGER EVER!!! Followed by everyone else 👏👏👏👏👏👌👌❤❤❤❤❤❤⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽❤❤❤❤👌👌👌👌👌

United need to bring Rene back in NOW! This is absolutely pure class! I'm not OleIn or OleOut but we need somebody like Rene back in at United, bring in world class medical / physio staff, strength and conditioning staff, set-pieces specialist and defensive coach too. Manchester United has one of the best teams in right now as the team is young, fresh, youthful and energetic - but it's not being let out of its shackles as the backroom staff right now (coaches, medical, physio etc) are all rubbish!

Huge thanks for pulling this together. I coach a local team, albeit at youth level, and there's plenty here for *any* coach to learn from. For me, the old football paradox of the game's complex simplicity shines through. The segment on Fergie's flip chart being a key example. Rene was able to build years of coaching around three pages of basic instruction. Fantastic stuff!

Absolutely riveting fellas. One of,if not,THE best vid yet. Rene is so knowledgable,could Ole not find a specialist role for him? Great stuff lads,i learned a few things on this one. That da silva brothers game at arse brought back memories of being in with a load of gooners and going mental at both goals and being asked to leave by the stewards. Great days.

This guy is so knowledgeable. As an American and United fan it was great to here him speak. Soccer/football is growing rapidly here in the USA. It’s been the most played youth sport here for almost a decade. Our young players are starting to break into top clubs around the world. The future is very bright. GGMU

When he said about keeping rotating players until the back end of the season, you can see it’s no coincidence that Ole played the same team for 7 games in a row at the end of last season!

That was excellent! He is such a good talker and a great sense of humour. Great interview lads, you asked good questions and let him do the talking, it’s what the best interviewers do. I’ve been following paddock since the beginning and this is the best yet, and that’s saying something.

This is pure love between these three, love for Football, love for hardwork and most importantly LOVE FOR UNITED 😍 🙏Also folks PLEASE PLEASE do not slag off any player or coach; United or Not. These people spend their entire lives just to make us happy and smiley for 90 mins. Lingard is a good player I hope he gets to his best; United or not.

I remember when I was behind the goal at Munich. I was not like Rene at all. From when Ronaldo missed his pen till Terry was walking up, I was gone. Absolute nervous wreck. Thought we were gonna lose. Thank god for the post haha. Great show guys!

Brilliant. Insight into a top coaches mind. Love that he has a plan for each player position, development scenario. Maybe one day we can see him back at The Club, in some coaching capacity.
